Well morning all. The holiday season is nearly over and my self-imposed exile (well semi-retreat really) is almost over. I’m looking top get back into the full swing of things after my family-time commitments over the festive period. Some things are more important than the $1,000 traffic competition that recently ended. So how did you do in it? My stats seemed to hold up fairly well even without my active participation but it is only now that I am going to seriously start using some of the techniques that others wrote about on their own blogs which was a condition of the competition if you recall. I do notice many sites didn’t reveal at all what they were up to regarding the competition and this is a shame as all contributions to our community only strengthen it. I’m really looking forward to the next Alex Jeffreys module though :-)

Have you Made Yourself Accountable Yet?
Paull has made a commitment that he wants to become an authority in the IM niche of video marketing. Now he’s made that statement up for all to see as I have done with my own goals in my prior post. You need to read this post if you are serious about becoming a success in 2009. It gets to the real psychology of what separates the winners from the losers. Now I’m sorry but some people may get uncomfortable reading things like that. But it is the real key to whether you will succeed in this venture or not. It is not what skills you have now, how much time you have to commit nor what size budget you have, but it has everything to do with your desire.  If you make yourself accountable by telling others your goals than you have more chance of success. So I do hope you respond to that post and put up your own goals for all to see. And please, please, please pop over to Paull’s site and let him know what you think about the video. Ask him about it. You might learn something.

World Student Tour 2009!
Finally, in addition to getting the Profit Pulling Newsletter ready for publication next week I am going to start my quest to visit all the student sites. Yes ALL! But obviously not all in 1-day, no it’s going to take me a considerable time. But I’m going to make a little game of it – a little treasure quest as it were. I’ll tell more about it later, so watch out for my ‘official’ visits.????

I can’t update the Blogroll until I get the ‘Collapsing Link’ plugin working which I am going to use to get all the student blogs on my front page. Hopefully, I’ll get this sorted within the coming days. Make sure you have added your request to be added to the correct thread. (see FAQ page) otherwise you are going to have a long wait until I intend doing the next one.

Right off to do a bit of ‘oil-rig’ hopping mixed with the start of my official world tour !!!
