Hello Gary,

I realized that you are using a different software that I have. But tutorials in the software shared the same tool you used. I am using Camstasia Studio by Techsmith Cooperation. Any idea for this type of software? I checked their site and the internet and haven’t had any luck.

Hi Gary, I am replying to the reply on 4-4-09 at 8:38pm. I am trying to achieve the yellow circle that follows my cursor in Camtasia. I have version 3.1. I took your instructions >options. But I didn’t have >Cusor Options. Did you mean the “options’ found under “Tools”?

>Cursor Options

and you set things there.

Great work as always you are a very given person. One question on your video that you show how to create a video with cam studios, how did you get the yellow circle to use as a cursor?
myself and Vince would like to know if you could share how you where able to do that?

I don’t know if I left a comment on this post way back when you wrote it but I wanted to thank you for teaching me to use something that had been gathering dust on my hard drive for over a year!

I’ve been a customer of Dave Guindon for almost 2 years and bought CamStudio Pro from him but never could figure out how to use it until I stumbled across your post and your video. I really appreciate all that you’ve done for all of your fellow students, you’re a very generous person!

I got an email today from one of our classmates and commented that he bought CamStudio Pro and didn’t know how to use it so I’m sending him to your blog to learn like I did! Keep up the great work!

Garry, your site is brillant. I have’nt got mine set up yet as I am still launching my platform but you know this now as i am very happy that you have agreed to help me with that. We have used to vidler for a number of niche videos and its a great tool.

My partner and I are going to purchase full camatasia for a series of videos we are going to produce, but this will come in handy as well.

On a more serious note, has anyone else noticed that the video of Alex cuts out at Video 5? Is this normal or have I stuffed up. I had a horror run doing that - all sorts of tech probs with conflicting files. Had to rename all sorts of stuff before I could get it to work. Maybe I botched it. Dunno.

jeez, I gotta hit the sack. It’s 3.16am and I got up around 6.00am yesterday. Oh… the price of success.

Thing that made me a laugh was your comment about ‘GirlFriends’. Yep, I think they may be letting you down (and all the Alex Jeffreys Students?). What was that I just heard? Someone saying that us blogs are better than you girls anyday???
Now that’s a call to arms you guys; make sure we keep setting the pace. You wouldn’t want to be beaten to the main prize by the fairer sex would you??? Well make sure you carry on taking action then.

I’ll gonna now just pop over to Coleen’s site to offer my support. She needs all the friends she can get now that her Girlfriends are not keeping pace.

Hi Garry,
A friend of mine has been working for the last 6 months on creating videos for publishing on the web.
He has joined a site called http://www.viddler.com where he uploads his videos for hosting.
There he generates the necessary code and embeds that in his Blogs & Web Sites.

Another really good thing viddler have is the ability to record a video using your webcam and mic. This is great for the beginner who wants to place a welcome video on their Blog or Website.
No need for expensive software.

Oh, did I mention; to join Viddler is free.
