Complete Camstudio Video Tutorial
Yippee!! I have managed to get the video you all voted for uploaded onto a hosting site called viddler. Never heard of it until some student posted up a comment saying I should try them out. Sorry, but can’t seem to locate the comment but whoever it was has been a great help. So I’ve re-posted the entire post from last Monday! Yes it’s taken that long to get totally on top of things. Oh, btw, this isn’t the KILLER POST I mentioned earlier. That is something else and will be absolutely fantastic I promise, particularly if you … no, won’t mention anything else for now. Meanwhile here’s the post and video from the start of the week. ….
Well I’ve got a great treat for everyone today. A complete video tutorial on ’How to Create a Video for your own Website’. It covers everything from start to finish, using the free CamStudio video streaming software and is about 25 minutes in length.
Using video is a great tool to get your message across on your own blogs or web-pages. As you’ll see in the video, it is amazingly easy to do. Sooo, sooo, simple. Remember, if we are going to succeed and make a profitable online business as readers of this site are all dedicated too, then you need to take action. Therefore, I propose you set yourself a little challenge today.!! Don’t worry, nothing to difficult. What I’d like readers to do is using your new found knowledge create yourself a little video and get it loaded on your website. Now it doesn’t have to be a move epic - just a 10 second video will do. Just you saying hello or maybe just showing off your website will suffice. The content is irrelevant, but by applying that knowledge immediately you have taken a valuable step along your road to success. Every little step counts and taking action will move you one step closer to achieving your goal of making a profitable business.
Hope you enjoy the video. Oh, one more thing when you’ve done the video post a comment back here linking to your ‘video masterpiece’. Please feel free to add a link on your website direct to this post as I think it will be beneficial to loads of fellow Internet marketers. So, let’s see who is the first to take action.
So get the popcorn on, sit back and enjoy the show …
Oh, by the way. Best viewed if you click the square type image at bottom right of the video image so that it enlarges to full screen. Enjoy. (Still working on getting it loaded on YouTube).

Hi Garry
“Things are really flying here and it’ll be lift off and out of this world very soon. LOL” from the previous message is about your site. I can see you have put a lot of effort, time and dedication so keep up the great work your doing!!!

Hi Garry
Thanks for popping over and saying hello, nice to hear from you.
Sorry to see you are having some tech problems, although from the look of your blog the way you are off to a flying start, I cant see you taking that long to sort them.
Regards
Rick.
Hi Garry,
I can’t wait to see your video. I will need it since I have no idea whatsoever on how to make one, so thanks!
Nice job with your blog and everything else you’ve accomplished in the last week!
I’m working on adding the rest of the “class” to my blogroll. I’m anxious to get started on my profit pulling platform, but feel it’s also important to be connected with everyone.
This is all starting to feel like a “dream”! One that I never want to wake up from!
If you need help with anything I’d be more than happy to pitch in.
Talk to you soon,
Lori

Hey Garry,
Sorry to here about the technical problems. Are you using Camtasia or Cam Studio?
I was lucky enough to get Camtasia 3 for free when they were running a promotion. About the same time I upgraded to Vistas.
As luck would have it Camtasia 3 won’t work with Vistas. Neither will Cam Studio IM version which I also have.
I am going to plan out a bunch of videos and download the trial version of Camtasia 6. You get 30 days to use the full blown software before you have to pay for it.
I hope I can make up the cost with this new profit pulling platform that Alex gave us. I already have mine set mine up with tracking and have started promoting.
I am going to send an email to my list in the morning. It will be interesting to see how many takers I get.
I started a blog roll of classmates on my blog at http://jtmartin.net so take a peak when you get a chance.
I know a lot about using Web 2.0 for SEO and am really good at getting high Google rankings for long tail keywords.
I will gladly help any of our classmates once they start promoting their squeeze page and get their blog set up.
Hi Garry,
A friend of mine has been working for the last 6 months on creating videos for publishing on the web.
He has joined a site called http://www.viddler.com where he uploads his videos for hosting.
There he generates the necessary code and embeds that in his Blogs & Web Sites.
Another really good thing viddler have is the ability to record a video using your webcam and mic. This is great for the beginner who wants to place a welcome video on their Blog or Website.
No need for expensive software.
Oh, did I mention; to join Viddler is free.
Anyone interested in doing this, my friend has created a tutorial where he goes through every step of producing the welcome video. It’s also free and there is no sales pitch. Just click on the following link if you are interested:

Hey Coleen .. you around?
Just popped on over to your site and read your latest post. Great style.
Thing that made me a laugh was your comment about ‘GirlFriends’. Yep, I think they may be letting you down (and all the Alex Jeffreys Students?). What was that I just heard? Someone saying that us blogs are better than you girls anyday???
Now that’s a call to arms you guys; make sure we keep setting the pace. You wouldn’t want to be beaten to the main prize by the fairer sex would you??? Well make sure you carry on taking action then.
I’ll gonna now just pop over to Coleen’s site to offer my support. She needs all the friends she can get now that her Girlfriends are not keeping pace.
Gazza! Dude!
What is this? Betrayal of the brotherhood?
I got a bet on that Queen Snitch (Colly) won’t get hardly anyone visiting her site. I’m gonna spray her e-book with e-grafitti. In fact, I was just over there doing a little bit of psshhhht, psshhhht.
Yeah, the girls are weak. They aren’t supporting her at all.
I’m gonna win EASY!
On a more serious note, has anyone else noticed that the video of Alex cuts out at Video 5? Is this normal or have I stuffed up. I had a horror run doing that – all sorts of tech probs with conflicting files. Had to rename all sorts of stuff before I could get it to work. Maybe I botched it. Dunno.
jeez, I gotta hit the sack. It’s 3.16am and I got up around 6.00am yesterday. Oh… the price of success.

Garry, your site is brillant. I have’nt got mine set up yet as I am still launching my platform but you know this now as i am very happy that you have agreed to help me with that. This and other students sites are a great help cos they give me ideas on what I should be doing when I set up and also there is a buzz like its an online community where everyone helps. Thanks for your support Garry and good luck to all of you students out there.
Hi Garry your becoming something else. You have come a long way in the last few weeks, since Alex have given you belief in yourself.
Time for me to go and pull my finger out, I’ve got some work to do.
Keep up the good work!
Best Regards Fellow Student.

Fantastic Video, Loved reading all your feedback Well Done!
I embeded your video in my blog as it’s excellent thank you so much, I should have come over to your site a while ago to save myself the learning
I have been playing catch up so really didn’t want to be distracted by reading all the other students blogs.
I saw the list on your blog and OMG have I ever got my work cut out for me today as I hope to visit all the other students too!
Thanks again Great Video
Great info Garry, I certainly learn new things from visiting your blog – keep up the good work.
Rob
Hi Garry,
I don’t know if I left a comment on this post way back when you wrote it but I wanted to thank you for teaching me to use something that had been gathering dust on my hard drive for over a year!
I’ve been a customer of Dave Guindon for almost 2 years and bought CamStudio Pro from him but never could figure out how to use it until I stumbled across your post and your video. I really appreciate all that you’ve done for all of your fellow students, you’re a very generous person!
I got an email today from one of our classmates and commented that he bought CamStudio Pro and didn’t know how to use it so I’m sending him to your blog to learn like I did! Keep up the great work!
Have a blessed weekend,
Kevin

HI Garry,
Great work as always you are a very given person. One question on your video that you show how to create a video with cam studios, how did you get the yellow circle to use as a cursor?
myself and Vince would like to know if you could share how you where able to do that?
Thanks again for all you do for all of us students of alex.
Hi John,
For the yellow circle cursor. In Camstudio go into
>Options
>Cursor Options
and you set things there.
Hi Gary, I am replying to the reply on 4-4-09 at 8:38pm. I am trying to achieve the yellow circle that follows my cursor in Camtasia. I have version 3.1. I took your instructions >options. But I didn’t have >Cusor Options. Did you mean the “options’ found under “Tools”?
Thanks. ANA
Hello Gary,
I realized that you are using a different software that I have. But tutorials in the software shared the same tool you used. I am using Camstasia Studio by Techsmith Cooperation. Any idea for this type of software? I checked their site and the internet and haven’t had any luck.
Thank You
Ana
