Alex Jeffreys Competition Videos
I thought I’d put together a post with ALL the Alex Jeffreys competition Videos all in one place, so here goes. I think it only fair to everyone if we try and give them all equal exposure. BTW everyone - YouTube has a Star Rating system and also you can leave comments on them too. It’s easy, just one click on the video takes you to the YouTube site to do this. It would be great if people could use this as it actually gives greater prominence to the videos when searched for on YouTube so potentially greater exposure.
These are the ones I (remember!) having seen and know about. If you want yours adding to the list to drop a comment of this thread.:-

Hi Garry,
Thanks for putting our video up on your site, its a great idea to have them in one place. But from you we have come to expect nothing else but great ideas!
Yours was the first one I watched and I thought it was great but the more I watch I just think that is great that people have used so may different ideas and ways to produce their videos.
I had great fun producing ours. I downloaded Camtasia Studio which I would reccomend to anyone, especially if you don’t have much experience in videomaking, its so simple to use and there are great tutorials as well.
I’m ready for the next challenge now!!
Becky
Hi Garry,
As ever you come up with yet another cracking idea that will be of benefit to your friends and fellow students, Thanks very much for thinking of this.
All the best,
Paull
Hi Garry
Great to see you putting these together - some I’ve seen and some I haven’t
I’m just amazed at the talent there is in the F500.
I’ve prepared my PowerPoint and ’script’ - just need to record it on Camtasia now, but spent time watching the video tutorials so I’ll have to do it tomorrow now.
I’ll let you know when I am done!
Hilary

Hi Garry,
Thanks for subscribing to my YouTube channel. Pity I’ve only ever made this one! Please enter mine in your page. Here’s the YouTube code:
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=N3nukw0DAzs
Now I’ve learned a bit about it I’ll do more. Stay tuned.
Cheers,
Gaielle
Oh, can I make a little suggestion/request please if it’s not too much trouble? Could you put the video title and credit the student’s name at the top of each video? Thanks. It’s a terrific idea.
Gaielle
Hi Gaielle,
Thanks for popping by.
It is deliberate that I have left the title and students names off for 2 reason;-
1. It takes me a while to maintain this page so is easier for me, but more importantly,
2. The videos should be viewed based on what they are, not who they are by. The title and students names are obviously shown in the video themselves.
This is just my personal preference which I think is fairer, but by all means why not get a post up on your own site with the titles/names as others may feel this is a better approach.
Garry,
Once again the first to come up with a great idea. I have one complete video and will be posting the second this week.
I have a problem here at work as we are not allowed to have flash downloaded on the company machines. I will have to look at all of these when I get to the school tonight.
I posted this morning on how I went about making my second video. I will publish the entire plan I used along with the video this week.
Once again I really want to thank you and Gary for your help and your kind words.
Have a great day
Thom
Great idea, thanks Garry. I’ll get a new page up on mt blog reserved for student videos. To keep it fair too, I’ll just include the titles, because they do add meaning. Cheers,
Gaielle
Hi Gaielle,
I think you are right a title does add meaning.
Looks as though there’s a few more videos coming out now. I’ve got a bit of a backlog of ones to add to this post (including yours), but I’ll get around to it asap. Yours is exceptionally good by the way and a very, very clever marketing ploy. Very clever.
Good luck in the competition. I’ve already subscribed to your YouTuve Channel.
Hi Garry
My video titled Alex Jeffreys Coaching - A Video is on YouTube and also on my blog at http://www.richardmoloneyblog.com
A great idea to have them all in the one place for easy comparison.
Richard Moloney
Hi Garry, I have ALL the videos up on my blog now, but I included their titles AND the blog links. This way I hope I killed 2 birds with one stone and set up some links back to other sites. I was way behind on that score! Thanks for the compliment about my video. I hope to get better quality next time but I had to hurry & finish it. I’m still struggling to generate traffic, as I couldn’t get the recording of module 4 to work. The video has helped a lot. I’d like to do some other characters in future videos.
Members can see their videos & links here

Good luck everyone. It has been a great honour watching the dicersity of videos. Well done all!

Hi Garry
Just to let you know that I have finally produced my first ever video and uploaded it to YouTube at:
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=OeIt6MOANq0
What a learning curve!
I haven’t yet been able to embed it into my blog post though I know that Ian & Becky Carter have a post about how to do that, so I’ll go and read it tomorrow when I am not so tired!
Anyway I’m really grateful for the kick I have been given to get this done.
Who would have thought 2 months ago that I would be doing this?!?
I’ll have a look at some of the other videos tomorrow now that I have got this one done.
Hilary
Hey Garry,
Great Idea!! I just posted my video 2 days ago. . would love to have it added to your blog here
here’s the link to it on Youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RLS78BZGe4
cheers,
Derrick
Hi Garry -
Great idea! Please add my first ever video to your blog. The URL is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGlte6kGEmo
BTW, for anyone struggling to embed videos, I recommend the Smart YouTube plug-in - when activated you just type the YouTube URL with an extra v after the http into your post - so the above URL becomes
httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGlte6kGEmo
and the video embeds automatically - no messing around.
Cheers
Susan
Hey Garry,
Another great and unselfish idea on your part for posting others videos on your site. I’d be a fool not to take advantage of this and give you the link for mine so here it is.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MVchb9E7jU
This is my first video ever submitted to Youtube as it is for alot of us and it was quite nerve racking.
But I must say now that I’ve done one I know the rest will be much easier.
I don’t know where you find the time to do all that you’ve been doing.
Thanks for being the central hub for all Alex Jeffreys students.
Later,
Jeff Sargent
Thanks Jeff,
I’ll add it up a bit later along with the other new ones I know about.
PPP#3 is about to be published.
Hey Garry
2 words - Nitin Mistry.
Absolutely superb. Short, sharp, grabs your attention and has humour. A lesson for everyone there.
As for you Garry - you’re a bloggong machine.
Keep it up mate.
JJ

Hi Garry,
Great idea putting all these videos on a page. I just wanted to say that I’ve been pretty busy recently because I’m also on a different coaching project at the moment and attempting to build 40 web sites in 60 Days!
So I decide rather than make a new video I am submitting this video, that I made last year, as my competition entry.

Although I am super-busy I seem to be mentioning you most days over at my place.
Every good wish to you
Stephen

Hi Alex,
Glad you’ve popped on by and hope you are enjoying the vacation. It’s nice and cold here in the UK
Hope you didn’t lose too much at the casino !!
Agree there are some great video talents out in the group. I’ve just got around to adding another 8 student videos. If I’ve missed anyone let me know.
Looking forward to the next Webinar when you get back, though I bet you are quite happy where you are at the moment.
Enjoy yourselves and see you soon.
Hey Garry
Great stuff, as ever. Here’s the YouTube link to my first ever video: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=gJOCHZzQDJI
Thank you so much.

Hey Garry I found out we have a few more days on the video competition so here is my url. Please add it soon and I appreciate your hard work.

This is the first real video I have ever made other than one with screenshots and using Animoto for my list building site.
I downloaded Camtasia 6 for 30 days free and used Powerpoint for the slides. Notice how I branded the video.
I don’t think most students have seen it but I’m glad to have first page google rankings for my keywords thanks to Maria Andros.
