@Angela,

No worries. Always like to check on what the other students are up to.

@Morten,

Thanks for the comment about the unique domain name but the JVVillage is actually run by fellow student Jim Gallagher. I am just a member amongst the nearly 600 others as I write.

@John,

Fine comment John. Direction, focus and contacts are all crucial to success.

@Nitin,

Well done on getting your first product launched on Clickbank. Another one added to the ever growing list of Alex Jeffreys students that are building successful bussinesses.

Very well done, I'll pop over and check it out but very busy at the moment as I'm producing my own product ;-)

@Nikki,

The next free issue of the newsletter will be later today/tomorrow.

@Vince,

Well done on getting another product to the market.

The successes just keep coming over the last few weeks for Alex Jeffreys students. Best of luck with the launch

Hey Gary, What’s Up.

All I wanted to say was thank you for your comments and insight on my blog in the last few months. Out of all the students you were one of the regulars that commented so I have a very special offer for you.

You see Gary, for the last few months behind the scenes I have been working on a new twitter software. This has been a very closely guarded secret till now.

This Software is Viral Tweet on Steroids. It has a complete interface and database so you can have complete control of your followers or visitors to your website or blog. This is not some thrown together fly by night software

My Tweet Elite Pro will change the way people Market, Sell and Communicate on the internet and here is were you can make a nice pay day.

We are looking for JV partners and I am going to give Alex’s students and my closet friends a 60% commission on every sale.

You can learn more about the updates at
http://www.mytweetelite.com

If you are interested in promoting
MY Tweet Elite
email me at -

Talk to you soon,

Hi Garry,

Another great post and it's garnered good response, even thought half is from one source, hehe!

I too agree that the development of the group and a contionued association is one of the real benefits of Alex's coaching. I've had my nose into my projects and pc problems so haven't been around the blog circuit much, but now back to do a little slinking around to see what everyone is up to.

I will get into the JV Village (great idea Jim) as well soon, I have something neat to offer the group, for anyone that wants to . . . So gotta go there soon to see it - plug, plug!

So, stay positive and keep making steps in the right direction, and winning is inevitable!
Oh, and you've gotta have a direction!

Hi Garry - The Jing JV thing is an excellent idea. I have used Jing in the past, so I would suggest that you look into getting a unique domain name just for the Jing society. That would be pure brilliance.

Hello Garry,

Thank you for coming by and checking up on how I'm doing. You and a few others really make me feel like I'm part of a small group who really cares and helps others.

I tried upgrading to Wordpress 2.7 and ran into a few bugs. Long and short, I lost access to my old wp database :( .

Good news is that it's now up and running with the new version and a new theme although I have to start all over. Like I said, I'm just finishing up on a few projects, (and wouldn't you know it ... it snowed again last night and is very cold!).

After searching the forum on WP, I discovered I wasn't alone in losing my database or the problem I was having "error establishing a database connection". Anyhow, if anyone is behind in upgrading to 2.7 and you don't have an easy script install in your cpanel, head over to my blog and you can find out how I was able to solve the problem. Hopefully it'll help any of you out there too. If it does, let me know.

All the best,
Angela

PS - until it auto-poplulates and the old name is auto-forwarded to the new blogspot (at the same site and host), you'll have to link to http://www.TrueWealthParadigmBlog.com/blog

Thanks everyone for the comments.

Well when I put this post up the number in the JVVillage was just over 400 and now it has blown through the 500 mark. I'll like to claim it was all down to me but I'm sure it's not LOL.

Glad you all liked the video, my first in that type of format and thanks to @Dave for letting me know that the music was from Hans Zimmer. But no @Becky it wasn't the 'sweaty muscley men' than did it for me with the music. Never seen the Contender, but if it was a reality TV around female mud wrestlers, well that may be different, LOL

@Stephen – yes most of my efforts are geared towards list building now and building relationships is a key part of that, hence where a community like JVVillage comes into play.

@Thom – agreed - success is made easier by surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals. It helps builds momentum and leverage.

@Jean – Hmmm, I tried to doing the re-branding of the PPP with capitals and no problem. Let me know what wording you were using and I see if I can duplicate the issue and thus come up with a solution. I'll pop by and check out your post but you are 100% right about the comradeship. I think it is great how everyone is continuing to help one another

Nice post - great videos as usual.

Just popped over to tell you I managed to get the last PPP branded by using lower case letters. It didn't want to work with any capital letters though.

Picking up on your comment -

One of the great things about the Alex Jeffreys Coaching Course was (and is) the undeniable community spirit and comradeship amongst many.

thought I'd let you know that's why I'm still around. Have written a post about it here -

http://jeansmenopausalmoment.com/blog/alex-jeffreys-students-emfs-and-the-importance-of-moral-support/

It's serious stuff and maybe worth mentioning for anyone who becomes an internet marketing computer workaholic.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's done it - especially in the early days!

Best wishes as always

@ Garry,

I know this is a hijack from me but I have somethin SO important to tell everyone and I can't think of too many better places than right here to do it, so I hope you don't mind this...

I have decided to make a warning about something that we ALL need to be wary of. As it is so important to everybody's ongoing financial wellbeing I thought I would come here to you and drop the link here. I didn't think you would mind.

Here it is:

http://motivationselfesteem.com/talk/845/warning-posts-and-comments-can-be-dangerous-to-you.htm

@ Nikki - I have certainly been thinking about featuring you and your "randomness" in a future Motivational Moment Video. In fact, my original plan has morphed into wanting to try to engage and "feature" a number of the F500 people in them. My subject matter is usually pretty important and serious stuff so adding a second part with a bit of humour seems to me, at least, to be a good foil. I like it and it is fun.

In your case, Nix, I may have to put either a purple or maybe... heh, heh... blue wash through your part. LOL. Only kidding.

@ Debbie - well your question @11 above just makes me PMSL - I knew that would happen - and the ANSWER to your question lies in the Motivational Moment Video #1. Watch it and prepare to laugh (or roll your eyes north, take a deep breath and shake your head). Either reaction will satisfy me - LOL!

http://motivationselfesteem.com/talk/845/warning-posts-and-comments-can-be-dangerous-to-you.htm

@ Nikki – I have certainly been thinking about featuring you and your “randomness” in a future Motivational Moment Video. In fact, my original plan has morphed into wanting to try to engage and “feature” a number of the F500 people in them. My subject matter is usually pretty important and serious stuff so adding a second part with a bit of humour seems to me, at least, to be a good foil. I like it and it is fun.

In your case, Nix, I may have to put either a purple or maybe… heh, heh… blue wash through your part. LOL. Only kidding.

@ Debbie – well your question @11 above just makes me PMSL – I knew that would happen – and the ANSWER to your question lies in the Motivational Moment Video #1. Watch it and prepare to laugh (or roll your eyes north, take a deep breath and shake your head). Either reaction will satisfy me – LOL!

Gary,

Once again hit the nail on the head. I really did like the video on JV Village. I signed up quite a while ago. Have to get out there more often to get to know people and to see what is happening.

I really like the fact that JV Village was put together like minded individuals in one spot where they can talk about business and work together.

Thank you for putting together this post. I would suggest if you have not checked out JV Village, stop on over check it out and join.

Have a great day

Hi Garry,

I agree that the priority must be to build a list. Everything I am concentrating on now is about building my list.

But I also think that list-building is circular. For example I could get a list instantly by using safe lists etc. But those subscribers would largely be valueless.

So now I've gone back to get my blog looking right so people thinking of joining my list are more likely to want to join.

I spend hours perfecting copy aimed at list building. I am about to place on my site the longest and most persuasive opt in script on the entire Internet.

Also I'm writing me book which will be a print book with an e-book option for give-aways.

When I get stale then I go back to creating my niche websites, which is fun especially because as I make them I'm making some videos for folk on my list.

In some ways I think I've become more productive since Alex stopped his weekly calls, but then I have always been a lousy student but quite good at application once I've got the big picture.

The key point is that now I know that I can make Internet marketing work, indeed it's already working for me.

Both the F500 and JVVillage are good places. Relatively few people attempt to sell us stuff on either site. I think F500 is more of a resource. People ask for help there and seem to get it. JVVillage seems more about business. Both have their place.

Certainly JVVillage has helped me to build my list, but then I've been giving people pretty good value when they subscribe to my list.

Hi Garry,

Another great post and video. I joined JV Village some time back when Jim first put it up, but must confess, I haven't visited regularly or taken advantage of the opportunities it affords. Big mistake, right? Well, so I failed forward again ... that's okay, I just have to plan to visit there consistently. Thanks for the reminder!

Gazz-man - such true words, but what I want to know is what you were shaking your head "no" to and saying "not gonna happen" at the end?

"I’m gonna feature somebody really interesting at the end."

Anyone else wonder why they haven't seen much of me lately?!

Nix from the Purple Place of Tranquility...oh, ok, maybe not. Maybe it's actually the Lair of Temptation. But then you knew that.

Is that what you are saying? Well, darls, just wait for Motivational Moment Video #3. They'll be doing something - LOL!

I'm gonna feature somebody really interesting at the end. I made a post over at my TEMPLE about what I will be doing.

Lol!! I had grinned through the whole of your video- well, I am honored to have the same taste in motivational music as you Garry. When I downloaded it, The title was just 'contender theme song' and that is the only place I know it from. Obvioulsy we may not like it for the same reasons, I mean when I hear that song I think of sweaty muscley men running around but it may not bring that image to everyone!!

I have to admit I joined JV Village a while ago but I not visit as much as I should. A big reminder is now on my to do list.

Other Gary, another great motivational moment- but no pecs??

Thanks for that, I'm on my way to join now!

Nice work on the video btw, the animoto ones can be cool but sometimes they move too fast to get the message across.

Hi Garry,

The music to your JVVillage video comes from the theme music to 'The Contender'. 'The Contender' was a reality-based television series that followed a group of boxers as they competed with one another in an elimination-style competition for a grand prize.

The theme music was composed by Hans Zimmer.

All the best,

Garry,

Nice video of the JV Village! Very inspirational.

Hi Michael, thanks for your kind words. I have seen what you have done to Parkesy's Twitter site - MOST impressive. We all have different talents and through JV's we can leverage off each other.

Great work you two!

Hi Michael,

Glad you enjoyed the video. It was the first one of that sort of video format for me. The last slide show type one I did was using Animoto which is great but you don't have as much editorial control and are limited to a mere 30 seconds.

This one I did entirely with WMM and I am very pleased with the results and I know Jim at JVVillage is as well ?

Does anyone know what the title of the music is btw? I actually loved it when I heard it on Ian and Becky Carter's video for the <b>Alex Jeffreys'</b> Competition so I decided to use it for this one. I find it highly motivational.

You are exactly right as well about aligning yourself with joint venture partners. Those that try and do it on their own have missed one of the key building blocks in what our mentor Alex Jeffreys has taught us – the power of leverage.

Think of it this way - someone may struggle on their own and end up with 100% return on the business they have built up. But this business will be very small due to the limitations they have imposed on themselves. If you build up great alliances you will end up with 50% of a far, far bigger business model. I know where I want to be positioned. That is just one element of JVs, there are many other including leveraging your learning abilities as well.

Hi Gary Simpson. I got so caught up in JVVillage that I forgot to mention your great motivational moment.

I want to be positioning myself with people like you and Garry who only motivate and let people know they can do anything they want.

Unfortunately I have people in my life close to me who continually try to drag me down, or have me prove that I can make money online. As I continue to give of my time and talents to others, I know deep down that I will attract the right people and this will be a big help to me personaly and in my business.

With todays online experience and social media, it's great that I can align myself with you and Garry to help motivate me to keep failing forward while loving every minute of it. Another great video my friend.

Keep it up,

Garry, I just finished signing up to JVVillage! Another fantastic video too. It motivated me and the music makes you want to act. Good job!

Creating joint ventures is what will help propel many of us during our beginning stages and will be the lifeblood when we are old vets.

We have to be able to recoginise what Mike Filsaime calls integration marketing and when we make products it will be great to offer bonus material that compliments our original product.

Joint ventures help to build lists and get your product out to as many people as possible in the shortest time possible. Many are greedy enough to try it on their own while those who build joint venture relationships grow faster.

It really is a great form of leverage so it's good to keep on top of who is creating new products as we can position ourselves and help each other grow towards success.
