Profit Pulling Project Issue 2 LIVE
Well the second issue of The Profit Pulling Project newsletter is now out. Grab your FREE copy of this fortnightly newsletter NOW, plus get the prior launch issue as well if you missed it. If you are serious about building a profitable online business, whatever your experience level, then this is a MUST READ.
Those following me closely will realise this is not just the efforts of me but some other ‘expert’ Alex Jeffreys Students as well. There’s something in it for everyone; newbies, more advanced students, right up to the real advanced Internet marketers who can re-brand it, put their own name and links in it and send it out to their lists as their own. The sky’s the limit here.
Anyway, I won’t go on. Those who have previously registered will just need to put in their registration email in the form below – It will take you straight to the newsletter to download and from there you can then click on through to the Members’ Area. Those that haven’t registered yet can also do so on the form below by just filling in the details. (btw, you dont have to be an Alex Jeffreys student to get a copy – it’s open to everyone who is serious about building an online business – and all for FREE)
I am already starting straight away on the next issue. In fact I want to get to the position where at any point in time I virtually have the next TWO issues almost ready so that I can plan things better. If you would like to contribute can you put a comment on here and put *** OFFER TO CONTRIBUTE **** at the head of it. Those who have previously offered to contribute, no need to offer again, LOL, as I will have contacted you and you will know the drill by now.
I’ve mentioned before that in the near future I am going to have a really professional sales type page promoting the newsletter with people’s testimonials on with a direct link back to their own websites giving you valuable exposure. Something along the lines of the testimonial Alex Jeffreys has made on this product here www.kickstartcourse.com that he personally recommends to give you an idea of what I mean. If you’d like to add a testimonial then in your comments add *** TESTIMONIAL *** to the head and I will take this as you giving permission to use it. Link to it from your site if you like as well to give extra confirmation and authorization to use it. I’ll pick the best ones when I design my sales page and the valuable back-link to your site will be there for all to see as the Profit Pulling Newsletter goes more and more viral across the web.
Just before I go, in the last two issues I’ve set you little challenges for you to complete so that you can get in the ‘Roll of Honor’ by helping promoting the next issue of the newsletter. This get’s your name and link in the Newsletter and valuable exposure for you. In fact 3 lucky individuals this time got extra special mentions and thus even more exposure for their own sites by the way they met the challenge. Well, the promotion of issue 3 starts now!!. Yes, it’s never ending, LOL! Now I’m not going to specifically spell it out and tell you what to do this time round, but linking to this post may be useful (hint!).
That’s about it for now. Hope you enjoy the latest issue of the Profit Pulling Project and as always I apprecaite your feedback as it helps me plan the future issues.

Hi Garry,
No wonder I have started calling you “The Machine.” Mate, you are awesome. The PEEPs would be so much poorer if you were not blazing this trail for everyone to follow. I simply marvel at the time and effort that you put in for everybody.
It is a pleasure to work with you and to be able to call you a friend.
Regards and best wishes.
Gary SIMPSON
Hi Garry,
TOP work mate. I really cannot praise you enough for the effort that you have put into this project.
For the last two days I have been frantically pushing variations of the original video out to the video hosting sites.
I have a lot more in the pipeline as well !
I posted on my blog yesterday a short video about a really cool little application from Tubemogul. It allows you to upload your videos to 24 of the main video hosting site and the beauty of this is that it´s a free service.
Top marks to Gary as well, I love his no BS attitude, a real breath of fresh air with all the other hype that floating around at the moment !
I really just want to thank you again for giving me such a great plug.
My best wishes.
Paull

Hi Garry,
Yes, have to echo ol’ Gazz-Man above: Awesome.
You know, I often do things the “wrong way round”, and this is no exception. Read Issue 2 just now, well skimmed it, as there is so much content to come back to – to digest, to implement, to enrich our lives with, to become the successful internet marketers we seek to be.
I couldn’t open Issue 1 a few days ago because the file was corrupted. This link has taken me straight into it. Hooray. I can read both now.
Many thanks for your energy and vision so far. Indefatiguable, or what? How far are you with your world turbo-hopping tour of the F500? I told you I finished mine on 3 Jan, and needed to rest for a good 24 hours.
And thanks for including me in Issue 2. Long may I deserve to be listed in each and every one of your newsletters, Garry. I believe you intend that it will not be an automatic inclusion, but earned by our actions. I trust that my actions warrant this, but may sometimes ask that you remember I am a newbie.
Well done Garry and keep up the great work, to benefit yourself, Alex Jeffreys and the active members of F500.
Valerie

>Gary,
You’ve always got your finger on the pulse, quick of the mark again. Thanks for the kind words.
>Paull – Credit where credit is due, that’s what I say. It’s great to see since I gave you the plug on my blog last week you’ve started to get more visitors and comments. I sincerely hope you get even more and more traffic after your mention in the Newsletter as well. Your efforts deserve to be rewarded and it is win-win for everyone. For me, for you and all the other students as hopefully the viral nature of the promotional videos out there and the newsletter will drive more and more traffic to our blogs that will have an obvious spill over to those that are connected to them as well. This is where the whole networking and social media aspect of what we are doing starts to kick in.
I’ll definitely be over your site to check on this Tubemogul you refer to. I’ve not had much chance to do any serious ‘oil-rig hopping’ over the last few days as I was pre-occupied with the Newsletter but I can relax a bit now and start to see what’s happening around the blogs.
Hey Garry
Another top, cracking, excellent issue again, great to see that you already have issues planned ahead, and fantastic stats on the embedding video issue – 2500+ websites – that a stagering achievement in such a short space of time.
All the best and keep them issues coming
Nigel
>Valerie – Thanks for the really kind words. Glad you loved it. Mine is a 3-month World Tour – I like to cruise in style, LOL.
And you are right it is NOT automatic inclusion in the ‘Roll of Honor’ in each issue. If it was, I’d have all 500 Student in there, LOL! Now as you are a ‘newbie’, I’ll give you a nudge in the right direction. Have a re-read of the last sentence of the second to last paragraph in my post above. The bit that ends in ‘hint’! … and there’s another HINT. Does that let you know what you have to do? Remember the past 2 challenges have all been about promoting the newsletter in a certain way and 3 people did some extra specials things to get an even bigger feature in the newsletter. Does that answer your question Valerie? Hopefully, if not let me know ….
>Nigel – Glad you like it. Yeah, and those video stats are awesome but with the new tool that Paull above has mentioned who knows how many more sites we can get the videos embedded on. What’s 24 * 2,750 – A big bl**dy number – now that would be nice to get that much exposure
Hey, how’s the new Blog coming along Nigel?
Hi Gary,
Another excellent newsletter. It is really down to earth and easy to understand for us newbies. But my name still is not included in this issue either
Best of luck
Christine
Hi Garry
Another excessively long day but I had no intention of going to bed without stopping by first to say a big CONGRATULATIONS mate.
You really are such an inspiriation and I hope that those that read Gary Simpons article on ACTION take a leaf straight out of your book.
Gary has certainly written some terrific stuff, and hard hitting is not exactly the word I would put to it myself!! Honest, true and straight to the point more like it!
For those that really want to make something of themselves, all I can say Gary is that they would do well to take Garry Simpson’s words to heart and to do someting ACTIVE with them.
Bobby’s information on Google Slap was also enlightening and certainly taught me a thing or two. As yet I have not watched the video, but I will be making it my business to do so.
Tonight was dedicated to a new client who wants me to ghost write an e-book, so I did not actually arrive home from work until well after 10pm and I guess, there are only so many hours in a day!!!
For now I will say once again….. you are a wonderful example of ACTION IN ACTION Garry and may Issue 3 be just as successful as this issue.
Coleen
Hi Garry,
I’ve only got to page 8 of the second newsletter and I’ve already got something really helpful out of it – I’ve got my email client set up now! Woohoo!
I noticed on the Gaz-Man’s site you were asking about Paula’s comments – I’ve gone and found it for you – it’s a long one, but I’m copying & pasting here for others to read as well…
………………………………….
From Paula Brett, originally on Gary Simpson’s blog (the post about black hat, grey hat, white hat etc)
Paula Brett Says:
December 27th, 2008 at 1:54 am
To be honest, I suspect that those that are doing this are doing so out of ignorance and over-enthusiasm rather than to be sneaky or dishonest.
Like many have mentioned, Alex’s coaching students are a diverse bunch with regard to ability, which is great, it means that the group is richer, IMO.
However, there are other `etiquette’ problems that are being thrown up which I think it is important to mention, particular with regard to commenting on other peoples’ blogs, spamming and Twitter.
1. It is not considered good form to comment on peoples blogs and leave your url after your name. Many bloggers (in the big wide world beyond the coaching group) will not accept your comments and consider them to be spammy if you do this.
There is no need to do this anyway, as you get the opportunity to leave your url in the form when commenting on a blog in most cases.
If someone is interested enough in your comment and you, they will simply click on your name and be taken to your blog.
2. It is considered bad form on Twitter to DM someone saying something like “hi, thanks for following me – check out my website at http://blahblah.com” – again, when a person chooses to follow you back, they can and usually do check your profile out which should contain your url.
Many Twitter members automatically unfollow people who do this as they consider this to be spam
3. I have had quite a few `spam’ emails through the 500 forum “check out my new blog post, please comment etc. etc.”
Again, on most forums it’s not considered good form to spam other members with emails to visit your website. It hasn’t bothered me too much at the moment as it’s only been a few, but if more and more people start doing it then it will get totally out of hand.
To encourage people to visit your website, you should provide relevant comments to blogs and not leave the impression that you’re only commenting so that you can add your url at the end of the comment.
On Twitter you should post links and information that you think might be helpful to those following you. Yes, it’s OK to tell people what you’re having for your breakfast, but the more chatty you are and the less you look like you’re trying to promote yourself, when you do post a Tweet like “new blog post: how to blah blah” people will be more inclined to click and visit.
Why not do some stumbling and find a few mad, bad, or whacky sites and post the url on Twitter – people enjoy clicking through and seeing stuff that you enjoyed and not just your own self-promotional stuff.
Remember, we are a group at the moment and hopefully the majority of us will form lasting friendships and online working relationships but there will eventually be a world for us all outside of Alex’s coaching, so we need to start as we mean to go on and make sure we don’t alienate non-Alex students and indeed begin now to start attracting other readers, followers and subscribers other than those we already know in the coaching program.
My goodness, Gary, I almost sound as strict as you, lol
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with their families and friends.
Paula
………………………………….
Back to reading the rest of the excellent newsletter now – thank you again for doing this for us all, it really is very much appreciated!!
Nikki
Hi Christine,
Glad you thought the newsletter was excellent. We aim to please and hope to have something useful for the newbie (which it seemed we did from the feedback) plus for the advance marketers which we also seemed to have kept happy as well.
Regarding your (or anyone’s for that matter) inclusion in the newsletter. As mentioned in my comment and reply above to Valerie, inclusion has never been automatic. It has been well advertised what was required to be done – the ‘challenge’ as I put it in the above post. The requirements for inclusion in Issue 2 were detailed here in this post:-
http://garryparkes.com/videos/get-positioned-for-the-1-million-prize/
Now, having just a cursor glance at both your blog and the replies to the post just mentioned you seemed to have not successfully completed 2 of the 4 tasks!! Now please correct me if I’m wrong as I did make at least 1 accidental omission in last issue which was rectified this time around. Please let me know either way by replying to this comment.
Hi Coleen,
Glad you’ve managed to pop on by before you getting to bed. Time is something we could all do with a bit more of but I don’t think we are going to get that any time soon, LOL. (No pun intended)
Thanks for the kind words and of course thanks for your contribution to this edition as well. It’s great how all the students can come together as a team from all corners of the globe.
Think you need to get some sleep now – you’ve started to get me (Garry) mixed up with Gary (the other one!), LOL. A missing or extra ‘R’ in the wrong place and Gary will start thinking he’s got a spit personality again- and we don’t want that, LOL.
Hi Nikki,
Thanks for popping by and going to the effort of finding that comment from Paula I was trying to track down.
I must admit have inadvertently been breaking some of those ‘rules’ or more accurately put ‘etiquette’ particulary when it comes to Twitter. Still not totally to grips with that yet, but I’ll persist or make a twit of myself, LOL.
Hey, I read somewhere the other day that US President-elect Barack Obamha himself has a Twitter account. That’s amazing.
Glad, you’ve already managed to put the Newsletter to good use and get and email account setup. You see, if there is one observation of the Alex Jeffreys Coaching Course is that he assumes these core very basic skills which for many is just not the case. I have been able to tell that from the stacks of emails I have received direct about some very basic things. But these basic things have to be learned and many of those on the Internet around for a while forget that at some point they didn’t know these things as well !!
Have you noticed you are in the Top 15 Commenters on my site and thus get a front-page link? Better keep it up though as you wouldn’t want to see yourself disappear off the bottom now would you ? Then again the way you get going sometimes you could get to the top of the list in an one afternoon I think, LOL !!
Hi Garry,
Another stormer, well done and congratulations.
To commit yourelf to new issues every 2 weeks is real dedication and ESSENTIAL reading whether you are a ‘newbie’, or an old stager.
Not forgetting your contributors:
http://www.coleencook.com on writing copy.Great.
http://www.bobbywinchall.com/blog on Google adwords a lot of good content there, and not forgetting Mr. Motivator from Gary in Gary-Land
http://www.motivationselfesteem.com/talk….Gary, I think that you should consider taking over from Brian Tracey!!
Just skimmed through the second issue, I plan to settle down with it in bed tonight!!
Looking forward to issue 3
Colin
Hi Garry,
Yes, I had noticed I was in the Top Commentators box – so you realise now that you’re leaving yourself open for all sorts of nonsense to come your way just so I stay there?!
Oh, one thing – have you also realised that I have NEVER got you & the Gaz-Man confused? And I always spell your names accurately? Think it comes from working with lots of Nikki’s in previous jobs, all of us spelling it differently – it’s the little things like that that make a difference in my reasonably humble opinion!! But then I am obsessed with spelling etc as anyone that works with / has worked with me will testify.
Right, off to go and eat a hot cross bun (yes, I know it isn’t Easter, I’m practising!)
Nikki
PS Glad you found the Paula comment useful, I hadn’t realised how long it was until I posted it – sorry!
Garry,
***Offer to Contribute***
I know I am a newby at Internet Marketing although I have been teaching Sales Classes, Goal Setting Classes, Time Management Classes, Management Classes, and Leadership Classes in the Corporate world of quite a few years now. If you need anything in those area I would be honored to help. I am also do Motivational Speaking to both kids and adults through my Martial Arts School.
Just finished the newsletter. WOW. Great job. It amazes me that you can do all that you do. Making a commitment to get a new issue out every two weeks is huge as will as doing all you do on your blog and how you help others to succeed.
This will be up on my Blog before the day is out. Garry you do a great job and I have learned more from you and Gary Simpson than I ever believed possible.
I work two jobs adding up to almost 16 hours a day and having everyone help, feedback and comments is a great help to me. I have been able to do more oil rig hopping in the last couple of days than before and it has been great. People like Debbie Foster, Hilary Dickinson,Derrick Siu, Erwin Chua, and Gary Simson have stopped at my place and have also help me. Most of them are on you blog roll which tells me they are helping many others also.
Thank you again for being a inspiritation to me and to all who visit. You are definetly a beacon of light is a vast ocean of hype
Thanks,
Thom
http://www.thomswartwood.com
>Colin – Yes, without the support and help of the fellow contributors and all those that played their part in promoting it, it would be impossible to do this. I’m just glad everyone enjoys it and appreciates the effort put in by everyone connected with it.
>Nikki – give it your best shot, I’ll be able to keep pace but I’m not so sure about you! Is it all just talk, LOL? Yes, I’ve noticed even though you are a rampant commenter you’ve never got us confused, even though many, many others have and still do! Yes, I think it is important to try and get peoples names right though inevitably I think people slip up sometimes. In fact, I have spent virtually my entire life correcting people in the spelling of my name; Often saying, there’s two R’s in Garry, and Parkes is spelt with an ‘ES’ at the end. Even when I tour round the blogs now I see people who have my name spelt wrong (surprisingly not many though) but I can’t really get worked up about it as I know that it is not done intentionally.
And as for our friend Gary from Gary-land if my Mum was to find out he sometimes refers to me as Gazza, she’d freak! She’d be round his place in a jiffy, battering him over the head with a rolling pin, LOL. She doesn’t live too far away from him so if you ever need him sorting out just give me the nod and I’ll get her on the case
>Thom – Thanks for the offer of help. I’ll email you later. And wow that is a really nice sincere post you have written there. I thank you deeply for your comments. It is always great when someone leaves such a wonderful comment like that saying I’ve played my part in inspiring them in some way. Particularly when I see that you yourself are involved in motivational speaking. Thanks to once you again.
Hi Garry,
Once again you’ve exceeded all expectations! Issue 2 is definitely better than issues one and I want to personally thank you and the others that contributed to making this issue the excellent value it is.
I, like Nikki, have learned from it in many ways. Thanks for covering that area in the opening.
I want to thank Bobby Winchall for a very enlightening and helpful video. It’s these little tricks you learn from experience and then the willingness sharing them that makes this group what it is.
I totally agree with Gary Simpson and I didn’t see anything that should offend anyone in Gary’s message. Sometimes the truth hurts, but if it happened to give an individual a nudge or cause a bit of a twinge, head the message and do something to improve your life. No need to get offended, get a life!
I was blown away by Paul Hamilton’s video! What an excellent, high quality and professional job.
Well done Paul and I’ll be around to leave a personal comment, as it’s certainly deserving.
Garry, you are an inspiration to me in the effort you go to, the leadership you provide and the motivation you instill in people. You deserve everything good that comes your way!
Thank you once again,
Dean Hohn
Garry,
Just a quick post to say Thank You for the kind words here and at my place. I meant every word I said. Many people just talk the talk..You walk the walk and on top of that you challenge others to walk the walk with you.
Again I love the newsletter and as you know I wrote about it at my blog. I had to… No choice
when something is this good you have to yell it to the world.
Thanks and have a great day
Thom
http://www.thomswartwood.com
sorry one more thing… might be a dumb question but I would like to offer this on my site. How do I re-brand it or can I just link it to you?
Thom
>Dean – Hopefully we’ll get better and better as each issue comes along and glad you learned something from it. I’m sure the entire team will be very, very pleased to read your very nice compliments. I’m sure they’ll read yours words as they pop on by at some point. We have a truly International membership and as others read this now, others are in bed so it takes a while for everyone to react to things.
And it’s only going to get better; I’ve already read some of the up and coming articles we have ready for publication! It’s going to be a difficult choice for me to decide what is in each issue and what is held back until a future one as I’ve got to ensure the balance is right for each edition. I truly glad to be of service to you and others Dean.
>Thom – Thanks once again. And you are certainly walking the walking by take action immediately. You certainly got the hint I mentioned in the post
How many others will cease the opportunity?
To re-brand the Newsletter click on through to the Members’ Area by entering the email you previously registered with on the access form in this post (Or in the link in the Newsletter). Both will take you to the Newsletter to download, where you also have the option to continue through to the Members’ Area. There you will find a zip file to download with the branding tools in and a ‘readme’ text file with all the information in you need.
Hi Garry
I’ve had my first skim through this second newsletter and I can see that there is a lot of really great content again.
What with this newsletter and all the other useful information there is coming from so many different sources I feel like I’m sitting down to a multi-course banquet every day and at the moment I can’t quite manage it all.
Never mind I’m trying to be disciplined in making sure that I make a note of where I find the useful information and can go back later when I am able to.
The great thing about this newsletter and your site in general is that I know that I can find great information here.
So well done for performing that really useful function for us all.
I daren’t take in any more at the moment as I feel that I might burst and we’ve got Alex’s next two offerings for the next two evenings. How am I going to cope?!
Skimming first, then going back for bite-sized chunks I think. Like my mum said, make sure I chew it well before I swallow and have time to digest before I take part in too much activity. So I’m off to sleep on this info – if my mind is not too active of course!
By the way, when I try to rebrand the newsletters, it is not allowing me either to drag and drop the pdf or if I look through the open command it is not showing in the list of files. What am I doing wrong?
Anyway thanks again.
Hilary
(In my very best British accent) “Oh hello Mister Parkes. How are you old chap?”
(re: #16 above) WHAT?
I can’t believe you are gonna send your mummy around to my place to tell me off. Gee, I’m REALLY scared!
Also, you’d better haul your a** over to the Gazz-Man’s Blog of Iniquity as you copped a bit of a flogging about your dopey “Eye of London” gravatar! Heh… heh… come and see what the Gazz-man is gonna do with your Futurama Eye.
International telephone call – London to Perth… bzzt, bzzt…
Mrs Parkes – “Hello? Oh, Garry, it’s YOU. How are you my darling? Oh it’s so wonderful to hear your voice!”
Parkesy – “Boo-hoo, mummy, I’m all upset.”
Mrs Parkes – “Oh Garry! What’s wrong love?”
Parkesy – “Mummy, that nasty boy Gary Simpson is calling me names. Can you go and tell him off for me?”
Mrs Parkes – “Right. Just tell me where he lives!”
Parkesy – “Mumsy, he lives just around the corner from you.”
Mrs Parkes – “Consider it done my love. By the way what did this nasty boy call you?”
Parkesy – “Boo-hoo. He called me… He called me… He called me…Gazza. There! I said it. Boo-hoo.”
Mrs Parkes – “Oh diddums, my widdle, wubbly, foozeypoops, my little honeybuns… Don’t worry. I’ll go and ask him to be nice to you. Now you run along. Mummy will sort him out.”
Parkesy – “Thanks Mumsy. I wub you. And I’ll always be your widdle, wubbly, foozeypoops. Kisses Mumsy.”
Click.
Mrs Parkes – AFTER he hangs up… “Jeez Gazza. Toughen up cupcake!”
Heh… heh… I like hijacking your blog.
Finally, the ONLY serious part of my entire monologue. Thanks to you, GARRY, and everybody else for the FABULOUS comments above. Brian Tracey! Heh! I’m still getting over that one Colin!
(Naughty) Gazz-man from Gazz-Land
(PS: Oh dear, what have I started now? LOL)
Haha oops sorry, Garry
I was going to leave visiting your blog til tommorrow, but I thought since I checked out the other Gary, may as well also check up on your as well and see if I missed out on anything.
Well it was certainly worth it, Gary (Simpson)’s blog post about the phone call was certainly most humourous and I could literally envisage the phone call scenes as well as the accents – quite freaky in fact.lol
Anyway, all the best with Issue 3 and just wondering when will it be out? I don’t want to be clashing dates with you as I’m currently working on my next eBook of which I penning a launch date.
Nigel
Hi Nigel,
Crazy as it was there’s a message in all that. And you, Nigel, have already hit on it. Well done.
Gary SIMPSON.
Hi Garry,
It’s great to see that the second one is now live.
Late today I discovered that somehow some offending code ended up in my wordpress page code and people were being redirected elsewhere just by trying to access my blog.
It took a couple of hours, but find it I did. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and hoping you guys can take a run by me and let me know.
Angela
http://www.RealWealthParadigm.net/blog
Another great newsletter, Garry!
You did a fantastic job!
I would also like to thank Coleen, Bobby and Gary Simpson for their contributions.
http://www.coleencook.com on writing copy. Great.
http://www.bobbywinchall.com/blog on Google adwords; and
Gary Simpson at http://www.motivationselfesteem.com/talk
And thanks to Nikki for including comments from Paula Brett on Gary Simpson’s blog about etiquette. I have been including my website after my name and did not realize it is not good form to do so.
All the best,
Joan Hughes
Hi Garry:
Thanks so much for the great plug in the newsletter. I had great fun playing in Photoshop for that series. Your conditions were a wonderful motivator and inspiration to get the creative juices flowing.
One question: I do understand that the newsletter is “rebrandable” for us to with as we please, (within the guidelines), but how do you feel about people advertising the newsletter on their own sites? I don’t see a lot of people doing it? Would you rather have us all point to your site for access. I’m just wondering what’s the proper etiquette.
Thanks,
Denis
Good Q Denis. I was wondering that myself!
Gary S
Garry,
Another stellar effort! I very much appreciate the effort of you and the others who have been involved with the first two issues. I would also again offer my limited abilities if I can be of any help with future issues.
I also appreciate Nikki posting Paula’s etiquette post. I am sure there ae many like me who have been making unintentional “social errors” which we will attempt to correct.
Ken
Hey Ken,
It’s OK. I mulled that over in my mind for a week or so before I acted on it but now I am taking Paula’s advice.
This is a clear example of where we can all work together to help each other in presentation. Coz soon people will be leaving the “hive” as I call it and we can’t go rampaging through other forums and blogs like a herd of elephants on heat.
And… hmm… maybe some very “interesting” friends of the Gazz-Man might also make an appearance shortly. Some extremely talented people who the Gazz-Man admires very much.
And kudos to Nix too coz I wasn’t looking forward to trolling through all those comments on my blog to find that. Thanks Nix. Ooh and Nix? You gotta tell me how to install that box of tricks I have seen on your Nickelodeon site – you know the one.
Anyway, I just thought I’d come in here and be serious – if not a little mysterious – for once.
Keep your eye on the Gazz-Man’s blog folks coz I get the sneaky feeling that things are about to go to a whole new level in the next week or two. But we need to get through Alex’s two back-to-back modules first, so timing will be critical. The Gazz-man has been keeping his powder nice and dry.
Gary SIMPSON.
>Hilary – Glad your really liked the content. I think your analogy about the multi-course banquet is a very good one. Yes, there is so much useful information around it’s difficult to know where to turn, LOL. Like you say the great thing about the Newsletter concept and my Blog in general is you, and everyone else, can know for certain a place to turn to keep up-to-date with what’s going on and great free information to use as well.
>Nigel – Good luck with the ebook. The PPP Newsletter is out every 2 weeks. That’s the plan.
>Joan – Thanks for the comments to the ‘Team’. Really glad you liked it. And see you are another one who has taken immediate action and got a post up about promoting it already. Well done for taking action.
>Denis – You deserved the plug and glad you enjoyed doing the promotion for it. I wonder if you have inspired people to have a go as I did with you? What promotions are people planning as a direct consequence of you been featured in the Newsletter along with the other 2 deserving winners as well? The bottom line in all that we do is we need to take action and try new things out. Some of those things will work and others won’t. ‘Failing Forward’ as our great mentor Alex Jeffreys says.
Regarding your question about the rebranding of the Newsletter. It is entirely up to you how you go about advertising and promoting it. Initially I thought people could rebrand it as their own and load the rebranded version up to their own websites so they control how people get it. Alternatively if people want they can just point them to my site if they choose not to rebrand it. In the end I want to get it out to as many people as possible so don’t want to be restrictive in anyway. The only condition I have said is in the disclaimer at the front of this newsletter in that when giving it away they must do so in its full form. That is they cannot extract sections from it to make it into something else. Effectively it is all or nothing.
>Ken – Thanks for the Offer to help – I guess you meant to head that comment **** OFFER TO CONTRIBUTE ***** !. I’ll email later those that have offered to help in future issues.
>Gary – Yes Nix, is a star finding that comment and going to the trouble of copy it here. I agree with all the sentiments in the post about etiquette, particularly with regard to Twitter BUT I’d like to debate this point about your Blog URL in the footing. Now I can certainly see there may be other blogs and forums where it may not be good practice to do it. However, I really can’t see the point of the objections too much, particularly on the F500 Blogs but even further afield as well.
You see your Blog URL is already in the URL you are permitted to leave when posting the comment in the first place and this is recorded and shown on the Blog when the comment is displayed. So as long as the footing URL matches this, what’s the problem? From an SEO point of view isn’t it better to have the 2 link-backs to your site rather than the one or doesn’t it matter as they are the same? I’d be interested to hear from the experts out there about this.
And Gary, Gary, Gary – you don’t take defeat gracefully do you?
I can tell it’s eating away inside you consuming your entire being. The battle I so wonderfully defeated you in last week is still occupying your mind I see, LOL. You’ve gone from Good-Gary, to Bad-Gary, back to Good, an appearance of Grumpy-Gary … then back to Good(ish)-Gary and now it’s Sore-Loser-Gary.
And me? – well, I’m just Consistent-Garry – and Winning-Garry, always one step ahead of you my friend
Now you don’t want me to get the ‘posse’ out again do you? I will you know. I responded to your abuse (sorry comment!) over on your site to.
The posse? … The posse?
You mean “Dad’s Army?” Or maybe the “Keystone Cops!”
The posse? Indeed. Any assault on Battlestar GaryLactica will be repelled as easily as it was last time. Ho. Hum.
Good-Bad-Ugly Gary. Here’s your shovel. Here’s your hoe. Take your pick.
Well you could be right about needing more sleep Garry!!! Again it is excessively late, and again here I am checking in to see what’s been happening.
I am thrilled at all of the wonderful comments you are receiving about your fantastic efforts. It really is so lovely to see.
It’s been a crazy week work wise and I keep thinking that I am going to have to go into hiding just to re-set my schedule AND attend to all of my work commitments!!!
I relate totally to Thom’s comment about 2 jobs and 16 hours a day considering my average day at present is about 20 hours between 2 business PLUS my commtiment to this course and our fellow students.
I really wonder, as I said to the other Gary (please note, correct spelling!!), how I can improve managing my time to get more out of my days whilst decreasing the time….a VA is something I will definitely be hiring in the coming week I can tell you!!!
This week is nearly over and I have yet to visit everybody and let them know that there is a new article that been published on my blog in conjunction with your newsletter.
For now, I really am going to bed considering is now 2am and last night ended up being 4am!! (Okay, so I went and visited a few of our other mutual friends…… that Gary Simpson being one of them)
Oh…and Nikki….I read your comment about never mixing up the spelling of names!! And to think I just picked up my new funky glasses..maybe I’d better go and get my eyes re-checked again!! ha ha
See Ya Garry
Cols
Hum, Hmm, Gary
I think you are suffering from some delusion trauma brought on from the pounding you suffered last time, LOL! Oh, I do worry about you friend. I’ll have to take it easy on you this time around. I’ll ease back with my ammunition. I notice you’re so scared you’ve put my last comment in quarantine, LOL. Just wait till it breaks through your defences and you’ll feel the full impact.
Don’t want you having a total breakdown or turn you into a blubbering wreck unclear of what reality is though. I hate to see grown men cry!!
Holy Cow Garry,
There you go being amazing again!!
The second addtion was fabulous and great fun getting to know more about the folks you spot lighted Coleen, Bobby, Denis. Gordan, Paull, and our own funny man Gary.
I look forward to being on the coaching call with everyone this evening!
Keep Rockin it Garry!

Hi Coleen,
Yeah, it’s great that everyone loves all the efforts we have gone to. And wow, just popped over to your site where I left a comment there this morning and you’ve got extremely prolific today. No wonder you need some rest. Very lengthy replies to the good feedback you are getting at your site too.
Will you be able to keep up with the pace with 2 of Alex’s sessions in a little over 24 hours though? I think many of us will be wanting our bed come Saturday, LOL
Hi Garry,
I’ve just replied to your comment on my blog – I think Gaz-Man is currently occupied by the webinar (that I’m missing out on – again – not sure my work would appreciate me joining it and I can’t download the software onto my work PC anyway
). So you never know, he might eventually moderate your comment after hours with Alex…
Nikki
Oh, Garry – looks like it’s been moderated now – pop over to the Gaz-Man’s site and have a look (my reply to Denis is just below your comment).
Nikki
Hi Nikki,
Just a quickie as I’m about to pop out.
The webinar is at 11pm our time (UK) so unless you’re up to something else you should be able to do it outside of work commitments. Unless you work nights
Worse than that – I don’t have the internet at home
so I’m pretty screwed at the moment, and not even in a good way!
And much as I love Alex’s webinars, I don’t think I could get away with lurking in the office by myself from 11pm onwards…although I could just sleep here!!
Will be playing catch-up as per usual…
Nikki
Garry,
I am completely mystified why your comments have been going into moderation on my blog. Truly. No evil, under-handed tactics by the Gazz-Man – not YET anyway. Are you using the same email addy? I haven’t checked – will do so later.
Our little banter with the – let’s say always rather “colourful” – Nix was a lot of fun. Nix always manages to take the entire conversation to the brink of the cliff. LOL!
Hey, regarding the Webinar… UGH! Dopey me got the times all stuffed up and I got up at 2.30am my time. I was waiting and waiting and checking – so then I go to Alex’s launching pad and check in and I see he now has a time converter for several dozen cities – Perth, Western Australia included.
So, anyway, I decided to sit here for a couple of hours and have some FUN with you guys.
Oh, before I forget – Denis Caron – I know you come here a fair bit… D-Man please hop over to the Gazz-man’s site where there is a message there for you (down below where you were before – a LONG way down). When you see it you will KNOW why I didn’t put it on your site.
Also, Gazza, I mean GARRY (LOL! – a little suckholing can be good at times. NOT that I EVER do it, of course), in the next couple of weeks I will be introducing a very SPECIAL guest over at Gary-Land who is a person I GREATLY admire and trust and respect and who is an absolute EXPERT. The PEEPs will LEARN a LOT from this person. I am in the final stages of negotiations right now. More about this a little later. I have put a couple of references to it on my “Blogging Techniques” thread and made them pretty obvious with a big heading if anyone is interested… END of hijack.
Looking forward to the Webinar at the CORRECT time – duh! I’m going back to bed.
See you all later.
Gary SIMPSON
Hey Garry…
Feeling a bit like a kangaroo here jumping around from one post to another…I suppose thats applicable being in Aussie land, like Gary Simpson except he is on the other side of the Island!
I didn’t get a chance to feeback my thoughts on the two editions..so here it is…ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC…what a blo##@@y! great job you and the others have done..and I would love to stick my hat into the ring in terms of adding some content and/or articles.
I have been beavering away or maybe I should say platapus’ing (..no this is not some unusual game between 2 people, its an animal like in Oz) away on an eBook over the last couple of weeks…when I was allowed to by the boss at home.
I believe it would fit in well with the theme of learning and teaching for all that comes thru the PPP eZine.
Nutshell summary: Defines the various types of people, e.g. visual, auditory, et.c and the Learning styles and how this helps to understand to get the message across to others…it applies to writing eBooks (this is what my ebook is about) or to blog sites, presentations, etc….you name it..
I am pretty excited about it and working through the PDF conversion, download traps at the moment..so if you would like it…I would love to add to it…let me know.
BTW: I will be adding the last 2 editions to my site..and advertising…don’t like being on the back pages…..just me!
Thanks for listening to my ramblings..catch you again soon..
Best wishes to all…

Gaz-Man – I take the entire conversation to the edge of the cliff?! Well, I guess that’s one way of putting it!
Let it not be said though that I haven’t made my presence felt!
Garry, sorry to be talking to Gaz through your blog again!
Nikki

Garry,
As always thanks for the kind words. I wanted to let you know based on your video and of course our class the other day I have created my first Marketing Video. I went over to Nigel Yip’s site and downloaded his E-book, “Lights, Camera, Action”, great book. I follow his instructions and here we go.. I have video. Don’t know how good it is, I am hoping all of your people will come take a look and let me know.
At the moment I am waiting for it to upload to YouTube. Once that is done we will see what happens. I will submit it to more places and see what will happen. I have used a lot of what we talked about with Maria the other day.
Thanks again.
Thom

OFFER TO CONTRIBUTE
Just to let you know that I had posted about the arrival of the second issue – just didn’t get round to leaving you the message that I had.
Here’s my link:
http://hilarydickinson.com/?p=40
Still can’t get that SEO thing to work – it clears off all the posts when I try it so you’ll have to take it like this.
I’ve also rather belatedly made an offer to contribute to a future issue as I am sure that there will be many more!
Hilary
Hi Hilary,
Apologies, but I just noticed you left this comment yesterday but I’ve not got back to you.
Regarding your OFFER TO CONTRIBUTE. It would be great to have someone of your calibre and dedication onboard. I will send you an email a little later today about details. I’m in middle of doing PPP#3 at moment so please bear with me.
Re. your SEO problem – What exactly is the SEO problem you mention. Put up a few more details and I’d be glad to try and sort it out for you.
