Newsletter and Competition
Issue 5 of the Profit Pulling Project Newsletter is out now. It’s the first one since the Alex Jeffreys Coaching Course officially ended and it has been great to see how students have continued to help one another and this has certainly carried over into the newsletter.
**** UPDATE *****
Competition Prizes
Prize 1 – Social Traffic Explosion (Total value $970 !)
Prize 2 – ‘New’ New Media World (Total value $319 !)
Go to the competition page to find how to enter for FREE.
(Hope to get an extra prize confirmed later today)
***** END of UPDATE *******
You will notice the cover graphic is a new design this time around. This has been kindly done for me by Michael Ottman another fellow Alex Jeffreys student. I think you’ve done a great job Michael and I sincerely thank you for doing them.
Michael also did a Twitter background for me. Looks real cool. Check it out here at http://twitter.com/GarryParkes and I’d love it if you’d follow me if you are not already doing so ? Eventually, I will be changing all the graphics over to the new images and also uploading them into the Members’ Area for anyone who wants to promote it themselves and re-brand it with their own name and links.
Now I made a big mistake in the last Issue of the free newsletter when I announced the Competition. On the entry page on my Blog, there was a problem which made it extremely difficult for anyone to enter and thus not surprisingly virtually no one did !! ?
Anyway that is all sorted now, so if you want the chance to win some great valuable prizes $$$$$$$ then you better get a move on as the winners will be announced in the next issue.
As usual you can download it from the RED link on the top of the right-hand side bar or from here. Hope you enjoy it and I’d love to hear what you think or any suggestions you may have related to the Newsletter.

Hi Garry,
I echo your comments on the cover. Michael Ottman has indeed done a great job there as he has also done on your Twitter page.
This Profit Pulling Project newsletter of yours is a testament to your committment to helping people. Congratulations to you for taking a big chunk of time to prepare this newsletter every three weeks, free of charge.
As harry Harris would say, “May the Force continue to be with you.
Gary Simpson.
Garry – fair play to ya! You deliver all the time and take the words of our mentor very seriously – provide value and the rest will follow….
Well done!
Harry
Oh and “May the Force be with You!”
Hey guys thanks for the plug. Garry, your newsletter is fantastic as it contains the views of many people and you do a great job in bringing them all together.
Your efforts will pay off big time as well. I was glad to be able to contribute in the small way that I could.
And Gary aka Gazz-Man, you jumped on my new book so fast that I revised it and added your motivational moments as a suggestion so I just want to say thanks again guys for everything.
As I do more and more of these graphics free for people, just a note of advice. The more information you have about what you like, the better.
It’s always easy to come up with something that I like but it may not be at all what the customer had in mind. The color change was easy Gary for your upcoming project, just let me know what you want done.
Check your email boxes guys cause I’m going forward and helping where I can. Thanks for the opportunity.
And for everyone else who has projects pending but need a book design, you sure can’t beat free so come and get one while I’m generous.
It feels good to give!
Michael J Ottman
Hi Garry
Congratulations on yet another great production.
Thanks again, to you and to the contributors, from all of us.
I’ve done as you asked, embed, post, plugs, links etc, and voted and commented on Youtube too! To be fair, your PPP deserves it all, even without a competition.
Sorry to hear of the initial low response but maybe it’s just that, like me, people weren’t paying proper attention with so much else going on. Hopefully we’ll all get our respective acts together now; although yours is a hard one to follow!
All the best,
James
Hey Garry
Great stuff – really enjoyed this issue..and the cover really does set it off nicely, good work and thanks again for mentioning me and my product.. I will have a think about more content for you
Have a good weekend
Cheers
Jerry
Hi Gary:
Just wanted to stop by and say “nice job” once again and thanks for squeezing me in the current “PPPN”. I realize that piece isn’t the normal “flavor” for the newsletter, and that you did go out on a bit of a limb for me there. I wrote that poem to bring a little levity to all that we do and I hope that everyone takes it as such. It’s my goal to entertain as well as inform.
My wife thinks that whenever I perceive a line, I’m compelled to put my toe over it, just to say that I crossed it.
Someone asked me just how many different programs did I mention. My response? Just one-Alex Jeffreys. The rest was pure fiction.:)
Take care,
Denis
DARN!
That’s Garry with TWO Rs and Denis with one N. I’ve never misspelled your name before. Where is my proofreader?
You have the blog owner’s choice-
You can either edit my above comment and delete this one or leave this comment along with the original above as I hang my head with shame and as example to rest of your readership. Garry-two Rs.
So sorry!
Denis
Hey DeNis – very creative poem, my friend. Rather topical and amusing.
Concerning the one R that is because you were most likely subliminally thinking of the one R Gary, that being ME! PMSL.
I might run riot over Parkesy’s blog while he is away on his “boy’s weekend.”
GaRy Simpson
Darn!
Michael, I was so busy being silly with Denis, I hit the submit button before I acknowledged you.
Yes, the header that you have done is really great. It’s far more meaningful in those colours. Parkesy likes it better too. I’m gonna shoot you over an email, oh talented one (just buttering you up there – LOL) with a few ideas.
Your efforts really are much appreciated.
So, here’s a SHOUT for you… Michael Ottman does fantastic graphic design work – check out the new cover to Parkesy’s newsletter and also Parkesy’s Twitter page background.
Gary Simpson.
HI Garry,
Great looking cover michael did a great job just another testimonial of one of alexs students helping out. also wanted to give a heads up that J.T. Martin is working on something very special that he put together to help out any of alexs students with a jv giveaway, go to his blog to check out the details here.http://jtmartin.net/
Talk to you soon,
John.
Hey guys, thanks for the comments. I really appreciate the time and efforts each one of you put into the virtual leverage of each others businesses.
Yes Gazz-Man, great ideas for your “friends” book. Don’t know if you want me to use their name or not. I will put in extra effort for them because I’ve seen this person contribute so much for one and all.
If the whole purpose is for us to build our own lists and giveaway events are the fastest way to build them then the lack of a graphic image shouldn’t stand in peoples way.
I’ll continue to do what I can with my free help as long as people put forth the efforts to go forward and build their businesses.
I’ve helped several of you now and it really is a learning curve for me so keep em coming! Great work guys.
Michael J Ottman.
Hey Guys,
What a great work on this newsletter, Great Work and great video. Already awaiting next issue. Compliments on the youtube video. Love It.
Regards Joanne
ps, I am following you on twitter…Garry Parkes
@Gary/@Harry,
May the force be with us all, LOL
@Michael,
You’re doing some fantastic work for many of the students with the graphics and I too am very grateful. Keep up the good work and I do think it will start to pay dividends in a big way too.. So everyone check out Michael site and see what it is up to as well as his latest ebook as well.
@James,
Glad you entered the competition and also enjoyed the PPP. You are right there is so much going on that people don’t find the time to do many things – Even ENTER a FREE competition with great prizes. Someone has to win them and at least you have put yourself in the position of doing so. Thanks for commenting ?
@Jerry,
You deserve the mention Jerry. Your product is very good and you have contributed too many readers with your free great articles in the prior issues of the newsletter. Look forward to future content you contribute.
**** EVERYONE **** We’ve had some great contributors over the past few months. If you’d like to contribute an article then please get in touch
@Denis,
I thought your poem was a nice ‘diversion’ from the usual stuff you read in Internet Marketing magazines. It was humorous but informative as well. In the end we have to enjoy what we are doing otherwise it become a real struggle.
@John,
Thanks for the info about the JV Giveaways. They certainly are a very productive way of building your list fast
@Joanne,
Glad you enjoyed the newsletter and the video that was kindly done for me by Paull Hamilton.
Thanks for the follower on Twitter. I will follow you back as soon as I manage to get the time to update my Twitter account
Hey Garry,
How are you my friend.
I have just been back this week after some time off taking care of my poorly baby. He is fantastic now, I am pleased to report. Some rather freakish stuff happened and he recovered completely from one ear drum burt and one huge whole in his other ear membrane. But I don’t want to bore anyone here so if you are interested just pop over to my blog and you can read about it.
I just wanted to see how you were. How is this internet world is treating you now after the course is over?
I hope you are still doing well, I can see that you are still being very proactive, which is fantastic. Are you managing to bring in money steadly? Hope so, you work so hard.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi.
Take care and lot’s of love,
Sandra

@11 Michael
You are a genius. My email will explain more!
(Cryptic enough for everyone else?!)
Nikki
I can’t thank you guys enough for the praise. Gary I had 20 hits to my site the day you put this post up and people keep on coming.
For me, this is better than paid work anytime!
@ Nikki
Read your email and you are very welcome. I’ve got my eye on you and your success. Glad I could help.
I’m glad that we have the two superbloggers on here to help get us all aquainted with one another. This is the way social media should be. Thanks Garry and Gary.
Michael J Ottman
Sorry, I meant to say thanks to Garry, that is Garry Parkes for the post.
To the other Gary, aka Gazz-Man I am very grateful to as well for connecting me with some of the other students.
Michael J Ottman
@ 17 Michael,
Please don’t give the Dalai Lemur, Self-Proclaimed King of the Lemurs any more praise – his head will just get far too swollen!!
As for Parkesy, well. Where do I start!
No, seriously – Gary (Dalai Lemur – don’t ask – stories about tails) and Garry have been extremely helpful to me, along with a few others that I have previously thanked over at my blog. It now seems that I shall be adding you to that list as well, so thank you.
As you said, this is how social media should be working – we all have different things that we can bring to the table so it makes sense that we all benefit from each other in that respect.
For the rest of you reading this – if you want design work doing in the way of ebook covers and that kind of thing – Michael is your man!
Nikki
Dalai Lemur, Self-Proclaimed King of the Lemurs here aka Gazz-man aka just plain old me… Gary.
Thanks Nikki!
Just thought I’d pop my “giant” head in here and see what’s cookin’.
@ Michael – Like I said, design a side banner for yourself and I will proudly display it over at the TEMPLE (Nikki!). You have been a big help to me, Parkesy, JT, Carl, Nikki and you deserve the recognition.
Many members of the “F500″ have exchanged ideas and expertise and it has been rather wonderful to see the camaraderie. I’m sure it will continue as we all spread out on our own individual journeys.
BTW, I notice Alex Jeffreys seems to have buried himself like he said he was gonna – underground.
Dalai Lem… I mean… Gary Simpson
@ 20. No probs. You should have seen how much I was laughing when I typed parts of that comment though!
Great idea for the graphics page for my site Gary, I mean Gazz-Man, I mean Dalai Lem.., good grief how many names do you have now? I’ve lost count.
Giving is receiving and as we keep this up, I’m going to coin the phrase “progressive funnel.”
Sounds like a great info product on how we can take about six to ten people and leverage off of each other as we progress upwards.
I don’t know but I think I’m going to have to make all of you family. I don’t even care about money anymore.
Michael J Ottman
@ 22 Michael
It all depends on where Gary is & what mood he’s in as to the title that he chooses to use. I like to bestow names of randomness upon people – including myself. It just has to be done.
Incidentally, I’m liking the sound of the ‘progressive funnel’.
As for family – hmm. Let me see. If we’re going to be the Addams Family then can I be Morticia? I’ve got the pale goth look all sorted (privilege of living in the UK with no sunshine!).
Nikki / Morticia / The Purple Minxy Witch
Garry,
Just realised that yours was one of the sites I couldn’t post a comment on yesterday for some reason. Please try to spread the word because unfortunately I don’t have emails for the students and since I had been gone for a while mu blog is a bit deserted and the bunch I want to halp the most will not hear that and I honestly feel are the ones who will benefit the most from this FREE call with NONE OTHER THEN JAY ABRAHAM himself. Read it below to get more info and go over to my blog to learn more should you wish.
Good luck in finding a place still left though!
************************************************
Ok,
There is NO time to waist on this one and the only way I had of communicating with all of you was to go to each blog and post this message.
First of all, it feels great to be back. If you are one of the lovely people that was following my live soap opera on my baby’s health you would have known that I had to take time out to look after him. Thanks a lot for all the messages in support of that hard time, honestly.
He is doing great now, so I am back full time, desperately trying to recoup all the time I couldn’t dedicate myself to my business. But I need to confess I’ve grown a lot over the past few weeks. Won’t bore you here, check my blog if you want more details. Actually I’ve put some very good resources on a new page called ‘My slightly ‘mental’ exercises’.
Anyway this is about Rich Scheffren and Jay Abraham. Wow, not much introduction needed here, is there?
As you would know I also did the GPS coaching program with Rich at Strategic Profits along with Alex. Jay Abraham is one of Rich’s main mentors for good reason.
**************************************************************
I do beg you to check this link https://schefren.infusionsoft.com/go/MORIcall/srodrigu/.
Yes it is my affiliate link, yes I will make money some how (not quite sure as yet because this is a link to an ENTIRELY FREE 2 HOURS COACHING WITH JAY HIM SELF) Oh My Dear Brazilian Lord..
***************************************************************
Because I am an Strategic Profits’ client, I’ve got my place guaranteed, so that is that. I checked the link and I’ve saved myself a place for one of the calls, there will be 3.
Then I’ve got this email from Brian (COO for Rich) giving me this link to pass it to my list and what do you know? I don’t have one, but I know you guys will benefit SOOO much from this call and is free.
The only one catch is that this is massively urgent. I’ve got the email before their affiliates will start sending it to their own lists. There will be only 3000 phone lines available. Can you imagine how many thousands of people will be teased about this call and will actually act faster than the speed of light?
So please stop whatever you might be doing, click on the link and save yourself a place. It’s free, but as Jay says himself on the form, take seriously, don’t sign up if you are not going to show up, you will actually be taking the place of someone that might really be needing and waisting someone’s right to hear this fantastic man teaching.
Take care and lot’s of love
Sandra

Heh… heh…
Michael, you mentioned:
To witch (sic) the Puple One aka the Purplemeister aka Nix aka Nikki aka Nickelodeon aka Nixster aka the Raven Haired Ruby Lipped one (one of my faves) replied:
Very true Morticia. Just don’t speak French around me and…
… if you do… just extend your arm so I can kiss it all the way up to your (I was gonna say armpit – LOL) neck, while I say “Carumba, Tish, you spoke French!”
OK, you have to be an Addams Family freak to understand any of that.
Oh, Parkesy, Pugsley and Wednesday send their regards BTW.
Gomez Gazz-Man
PS: I think my fave self-proclaimed title was the one I gave myself (hence SP) when Parkesy and I were doing battles to see who could get the most blog posts which, incidentally, I absolutely pantsed him on. Lemme think, I think it was Commander Gazz-Man in full uniform with Clasp and Oak Leaves, or something to that effect. I just used to PMSL every time I used it. No doubt everyone thought (thinks) I was (am) mad. All good fun. And I did bloody beat you Parkesy – even though YOU changed the rules half way through. So THERE!
|@ 25
(Gomez to Morticia) “Seeing you like this, on our wheel…leather straps, red-hot pokers…my blood boils…”
(Morticia’s reply) “Later Gomez, later”

And also (from Morticia to Gomez) “Gomez, last night, you were unhinged. You were like some desperate, howling demon. You frightened me. [pause] Do it again!”
