Proof a Blog really generates traffic
Right folks, yesterday my blog went crazy - in a nice way :) I had loads of visitors and over 20 comments. Do you know the other day when I was well pleased with my traffic stats and posted the proof for all to see. Well yesterday I had over 125 visitors. 125 visitors from no blog a week ago - can you believe that?????
Wow! Now I don’t say this to boast or brag. I’m telling you to encourage you to do this same. The more of us that do this, then we will have a thriving community that will only be of benefit to us all. Thanks to all those that contributed by commenting or emailing or just popping by and having a read. I really appreciate it. I will respond to all the comments/emails but please be patient as I’m trying to manage my time the best I can.
Now for giving something back to you all. I am going to make a video for you but first I’d like to poll you to find the thing that is holding you back and make that the subject of the video.

I like your blog too. Well done on building up yor traffic. The reason for it is that you are adding valuable content to it and you are building a valuable community here. Search engines like that a lot. Really well done you.
I’ve answeared your pool. Think I will do something like that on mine too when is a bit ‘older’ sort of speak. I’ve just literaly just put it up couple of days ago and don’t have any traffic yet. Actually need to work on installing the google analitics code or whatever they call it on the site but need to figure that out as well.
Don’t we love technology? I don’t, I wish I could get away without it but hey this is what is going to be my bread and butter and I will give 1000% of my fullest attention and make it happen.
Great to be makin connections already. I think we are going to make a lovely community with this course.

Thanks for your post on our blog earlier. The feedback is great to have as it shows we are moving in the right direction. I voted on your poll, what a great idea!! It is wonderful to see a blog thats full of different things as it gives us something to aim for.
Since you and Dean helped me sort out our own domain and hosting we now have our blog switched over to wordpress with our own domain, obviously I am still working on it so it is bare boned at the moment but we wold love you to come over and take a look. I will be adding more later about how I have managed to move my blog from blogger to wordpress. We are geting there!!

Hi all,
Been out this morning to return to see the poll is doing very nicely. Very Helpful video. For those who don’t have the faintest where to start with a blog I’d recommended you popping over to Nadav’s site which shows you how to do a basic installation.
Still time for people to get the votes in. I’ll close voting at the weekend.
And just to clarify, the Blog video I am intending on doing if it is voted for is to go beyond just installation. In effect everything you see on my Blog I will show you how to do it:
- Changing the Theme,
- Activated Plugins (The Poll, example)
- Managing Links and Categories
- Uploading images
plus anything else I may have missed at the moment. In essence if, you see it on my Blog I’ll show you how I did it.

It’s great that you can show others that the system you are teaching actually works in real time and that everyone can do it if they just change their own mindset and go with it, those that either ignore or refuse to accept that ‘the times they are a changing’ will be left behind and will suffer financially in the long run.
‘If you believe you will achieve’ is a motto I have taken to heart over the last year and you are living proof that this works!
Great times are a coming fast and I will be along for the ride.
