Well a New Year is nearly upon us and it is the time of year we start to think of the year ahead and making some New Year’s resolutions. Now for those who are planning on building a highly successful on-line business it is a particularly important time. Planning is crucial. For those presently doing the mentorship course with Alex Jeffreys – remember way back on our first webinar, ‘Forward to Basics’? I hope so, because it is crucial to have those plans in place to ensure we have a firm foundation to build our business on. All the ‘small steps’ we take towards our goals, as written in our plan, take us in the right direction and have a cumulative impact when all added together.
Now notice the word “written” in the above paragraph? You see a plan in your head is just a dream, a thought, an intention. To make it become reality you have to do a bit more and one way of ensuring that is by making yourself accountable. Now I reveal at the end of this post my precise goals for the coming year. Why? Well because announcing them to the world makes them more ‘real’ than just a thought and more importantly it makes me accountable. I do not like to fail and having my goals up for the world to see is one way of instilling the drive and determination to make me succeed. You see I will succeed I told you here. Will you?
The first week in January will see the launch of the second edition of the ‘Profit Pulling Project’ Newsletter. Now the first edition was a rip-roaring success. Many established internet marketers with their own lists used the viral re-branding option to ‘stamp’ their own name and website throughout the ebook. This ensured a confirmed circulation of 1,000′s on just the very first issue. Very pleasing for all the Alex Jeffreys’ students and in particular those who played an active part in promoting it and thus got their names in the ‘Roll of Honor’.
You can refer to the post ‘Get a slice of the $1 MILLION up for grabs’ to remind yourself exactly what they had to do to secure their place. Now they (possibly even you reading this) completed those 4 simple steps once and yet the impact of their actions will be felt for years to come as due to the viral nature of the internet that newsletter will be read by successive readers for years to come.
Now it was made quite clear in that original post that the privilege of getting your name included in the newsletter was for the LAUNCH Issue only. However, it seems that some people got over enthusiastic and many (at least 40+ posts after the launch deadline) carried on completing the task list. Now unfortunately I can’t turn back time, LOL, so they missed getting their names in that launch issue but to recompense I am going to do a similar sort of thing for the second issue and the SECOND ISSUE ONLY, so please take note here. If you want to get your name included and ‘immortalized’ forever this is what you have to do this time.
Yippee!! I have managed to get the video you all voted for uploaded onto a hosting site called viddler. Never heard of it until some student posted up a comment saying I should try them out. Sorry, but can’t seem to locate the comment but whoever it was has been a great help. So I’ve re-posted the entire post from last Monday! Yes it’s taken that long to get totally on top of things. Oh, btw, this isn’t the KILLER POST I mentioned earlier. That is something else and will be absolutely fantastic I promise, particularly if you … no, won’t mention anything else for now. Well I’ve got a great treat for everyone today. A complete video tutorial on ’How to Create a Video for your own Website’. It covers everything from start to finish, using the free CamStudio video streaming software and is about 25 minutes in length.
Using video is a great tool to get your message across on your own blogs or web-pages. As you’ll see in the video, it is amazingly easy to do. Sooo, sooo, simple. Remember, if we are going to succeed and make a profitable online business as readers of this site are all dedicated too, then you need to take action. Therefore, I propose you set yourself a little challenge today.!! Don’t worry, nothing to difficult. What I’d like readers to do is using your new found knowledge create yourself a little video and get it loaded on your website. Now it doesn’t have to be a move epic - just a 10 second video will do. Just you saying hello or maybe just showing off your website will suffice. The content is irrelevant, but by applying that knowledge immediately you have taken a valuable step along your road to success. Every little step counts and taking action will move you one step closer to achieving your goal of making a profitable business.
Hope you all had a good weekend. I know I did. I feel really confident that the steps I am taking will ultimately make me a very successful business. I know Alex had massive success in a short space of time so if I put the effort in why shouldn’t I. Alex is no better or different to me (I’m sure he doesn’t have 2 brains!) and I’m really glad I’ve signed up for Alex’s Coaching Course and going to be mentored by him. Today’s the last full day before he stops taking anyone else.

I’m really pleased with myself that I worked how to do it all. I’ve seen the power of videos before but never thought it would be so, so easy to do. I could of hosted it myself but decided to sign up for YouTube as more people will no doubt see it there.
