Here’s a short video explaining how to embed a YouTube video onto your Blog or website.
I sent a Twitter message out to promote the Profit Pulling Project Newsletter competition and it appears that a fair few people do not know how to embed a video. I guess they haven’t been on the recent Alex Jeffreys Coaching Course Anyway, here is how to do it so hopefully you’ve got no excuses for not entering the FREE competition now. As always though, if you want help with something just let me know and I’ll put a post up about it. Best dropping a comment on my blog though, as with well over 6,000 followers on Twitter keeping track of DM messages can be difficult at times !!
To enter the competition please visit this page HERE. Very easy to do, costs nothing and you can win prizes valued at over $1,000.
Since the conclusion of the last Alex Jeffreys webinar I have been busier then ever. I took to heart what Alex told all of his Coaching Students during that last call. It was basically a message of reevaluate and re-plan so that you can refocus on the path ahead. Well that is exactly what I having been doing this weekend.
I , along with many other students, have come a long way since the Alex Jeffreys Coaching started less than three short months ago. Along the way I have done some things not so well and some other things very well. I will let you decide which falls into which camp, but more importantly it is not about me it is about each of us reviewing our own progress and making sure we make adjustments so we get to our own personal goals as quickly as possible. I have a number of projects I am working on or are in the planning stage. I will reveal more of these at the appropriate time but underlying all of these is LIST BUILDING and building effective relationships.
Early on the in Alex Jeffreys Coaching Course, Alex told us of the importance of having good fresh content on your Blogs. If you give value to your visitors they will come back for more. Simple as that. I have made sure I regularly put out new content on my Blog and made sure every week I put up several new posts. But how/where do I get the ideas from to write my content?
Well, I apply another technique that Alex Jeffreys taught is – I keep a journal, plus I record ideas and make notes all the time. I have a spreadsheet continually open as I am ‘working’ at my computer and I just drop notes and reminders into it whenever something pops into my head so I don’t forget !! Since the Alex Jeffreys Coaching course started I have had no problem in keeping my material fresh, but where else can you go if you have writers block?
Twitter is a great tool to use for Internet Marketing as well as great fun to use as well. Why? Well since I’ve got my number of Twitter followers to over 1000 it has accounted for a significant amount fo additional traffic to my website. If you use Twitter to build up good relationships with your followers then I have found many will take an interest in what you are up to on your Blog.
I rarely advertise directly my Blog URL in my Twitter posts, but obviously a lot of people go to my profile where they can then click through to my blog. I urge you to get involved with Twitter. I didn’t get it at first! But I stuck at it and now see the power and potential of it. Here is the tutorial video I promised all Alex Jeffreys Students (but open to everyone of course!) that covers the basics of Twitter plus more advanced topics and some great tools I have found that allowed me to build up my presence in super quick time. You can do it too. Remember it boosts your traffic.
Since recording the video I have just found an even better tool to manage Twitter that is in beta mode at the moment but it is awesome. Please go to the end of the post for more details after viewing the video.
I thought I’d put together a post with ALL the Alex Jeffreys competition Videos all in one place, so here goes. I think it only fair to everyone if we try and give them all equal exposure. BTW everyone – YouTube has a Star Rating system and also you can leave comments on them too. It’s easy, just one click on the video takes you to the YouTube site to do this. It would be great if people could use this as it actually gives greater prominence to the videos when searched for on YouTube so potentially greater exposure.
These are the ones I (remember!) having seen and know about. If you want yours adding to the list to drop a comment of this thread.:-
