Alex Jeffreys Archives

If you can read this then you must be using a browser other than Internet Explorer 7.0. Anyone using IE7 cannot access the site as they get a message saying “Internet Explorer cannot open site … Operation Aborted” or something similar.

Now this started happening shortly after the I put up the post yesterday evening with the video of the proof Gary Simpson had won the Google Ranking competition. About an hour after that the site starting having problems. I have tried removing the post, the video my pop-ups and yet I still get the same message.

If anybody has any ideas what I can do to rectify it please let me know. I stil don’t quite understand how it can work with other browsers (eg. Firefox, Chrome) but not IE7. Any help much apprecaited as I’m tearing my hair out here :-(

Alex Jeffreys Google Winner

Yes there is a winner in the Alex Jeffreys Video Competition and a well deserved winner is all I can say.

Here is the short video below with the proof. I am sure everyone will want to join in the congratulations to the person when you view the video and find out who it is. Well done it is richly deserved. More later, just wanted to get this post up as quickly as possible.

Breakthroughs & Barriers

Well for most of us on the Alex Jeffreys course it has been an intensive period over the last couple of months while the mentorship course has progressed. It is probably just as well that Alex Jeffreys is on holiday at the moment to allow many to consolidate as the pace has been fast and furious at times. Many of us have had to change our mindset, learn new skills and techniques and are getting into different areas of Internet Marketing.

There have been many obstacles and barriers to get through along the way and these have been different for each of us. Whether this be new skills to learn, or getting over a mental barrier to go beyond your own comfort zone. Each of these barriers holding us back will be different for each of us, but when we overcome each one we have a breakthrough that inspires and encourages us until we inevitably meet the next ‘challenge’. Only you as an individual will know if you have stretched yourself enough and had some breakthroughs because like I say these will be personal to each of us.

I thought I would share with you three of the very significant personal barriers I have broken through to make a real go at success in Internet Marketing. The first was when I read Alex Jeffreys‘ free ebook the ‘Gurus Dream’ and watched his promotional video for the Alex Jeffreys Coaching Course. I knew instantly why I had failed in all my previous attempts to succeed in Internet Marketing.

Clever Student BlogRoll Changes

Finally got around to doing my super-duper changes to the way my complete Stundent Blogroll is displayed on the screen. So, for those that haven’t quite noticed or worked out what changes I have done they can be split into 4 bits:

1. Main BlogRoll
This consists of two bits and both can be expandable/collapsable by clicking the arrows (or the small square box on some browsers!). The first bit is titled ‘Top Links’ that conists of 4 links at the moment that are automatically expanded to be visible and include links that I directly add.

The second is titled ‘Most Active Blogs’ and is intended to be exactly what it says. You see I thought about what is the real use and benefit of a Blogroll, and it is clearly to go quickly and easily to those blogs with things happening on them. At the moment the count stands at 59 entries and these are initially ‘hidden’ but can, by clicking the arrow to the immediate left of the entry, be expanded to reveal the entries. Now I want to get this count down to no more than 50 so I will be adding/removing entries from the list as time goes by. Initially, in preparing this initial list of 59 I made a crude subjective attempt of deciding who should be on this list based on my own visits to the blogs, the frequency of posting/commenting on the blog and general level of contribution to the overall Alex Jeffreys Community. I know for a fact I will have missed some obvious candidates (whoops, I can think or some already!) but it was my first stab at it and I will be adding/removing to it as time goes by. Remember my target is to have no more than 50 so anybody added will mean someone is removed!! (Plus also I have to loose 9 to start off with!!). Also, remember there is no precise scientific formulae I am using for who is on or off. If you feel you are worthy of inclusion compared to other entries on it and feel I’ve inadvertently missed you off then please let me know. (You don’t have to say who you think you should replace, just let me know you think your blog is sufficient to be added and I’ll decide who is replaced.)

Alex Jeffreys

Alex Jeffreys
(Internet Marketing Guru)

Alex Jeffreys, who is he you may ask? Well many readers of this blog are in fact Alex Jeffreys Coaching students so they know the answer and can testify to his brilliance through their own success stories. But there are many of the readership who have not been fortunate enough to be personally mentored by him and need to know more about this new-breed of Internet Marketer. They are sceptical and rightly so, as many have been promised the earth on numerous occasions and are sick to death of re-hashed GET RICH QUICK money-making schemes.

Alex Jeffreys is no Scam, Just the Truth

Scepticism is a healthy attribute but at the same time one must be open-minded to new opportunities. Alex Jeffreys offers a new way, a new path to riches which I admit most will not want to pursue. You see Alex blows the myth wide open that there is a system, a ‘magic-button’, that you just purchase, implement and by the end of the week or month or whatever period the hyped-up sales literature says and the money will just start rolling in. You see that is most certainly NOT the Alex Jeffreys way. He doesn’t promise you untold riches by such and such a date. He just gives you a step-by-step approach to build your business from the ground up. Get a solid foundation in place and then take advantage of the latest Social Media tools to leverage it to its maximum potential. That is the Alex Jeffreys way and such an approach takes more time (but no where near as long as you think).
