Profit Pulling Project launched Wednesday
I’m so excited! I’ve set the launch date for “The Profit Pulling Project” bi-weekly newsletter as this Wednesday. Over the course of today and tomorrow my ‘team’ will be putting the finishing touches to things and then that’s it – all done. (Well until the next issue is due in 2 weeks time that is!)
URGENT POST UPDATE: Check out this cool promotional video Nigel Yip has just completed for the newsletter. It is one 1 of 4. I can’t thank him enough. Awesome my friend. More later …
Remember, if you want to be featured in the launch edition and have a valuable link-back to your own blog you need to complete the 4 steps I told you about the other day. Many have done this already. Mark Austin has volunteered to help me out here. In order to come up with a definitive list of who has completed the 4-steps he is hosting a special page over at his site here. When you have completed the 4 steps pop a comment over on Mark’s blog and we will be using that as the controlling list to validate your inclusion from and confirm your entry into the “Hall of Fame” as it were.
If you haven’t yet signed up yet to reserve your copy of the launch edition please visit here to secure your FREE bi-weekly Newsletter. (It will NOT be made generally available on the site so you need to sign-up to gain access).
Oh, nearly forgot to mention. We are already working on future issues of the “The Profit Pulling Project”. If you would like to contribute an article or feature in it please post a comment and I will then contact you direct by email to discuss things. Remember, even if you are a newbie you can have something to offer as each newsletter is mixed with both beginner’s content mixed in with advanced material as well. Right, loads of work to do. I’ll pop by later.

Hi Garry,
The newsletter is looking good. Can’t wait to get a copy.
I only caught up with your blog a day or two ago and I’m desperately flying around the posts and comments to see what I’ve missed.
It’s all very encouraging and motivating.
Cheers.
Richard
Gazza!
That cover looks AWESOME! If the inside is half as good as the outside then it’s gonna be a corker!
Hey Gazza who did your cover? I’m looking for someone to do a cover for “PROJECT X” over at Gary-Land.
Gary Simpson

Hey Garry..
Great looking graphic, did you get that from the site that Alex talked about?
Second question, when coming to your blog there is a pop up about joining and getting Alex’s ebook, did you do this in Aweber? I want to set something similar up but not sure how to do it..hope you can help..
Regards…Paul
Gazza,
My avatar here is really dweeby and dorky looking. I don’t like it! Got anything with bigger guns?

Garry,
Great graphics – very impressive. Looking forward to see and reading the newsletter.
Alan
I would love to be able to do the pop up window etc – are these all available within WordPress?
Looks very professional! Well done, looking 4ward to getting hold of it.
Keep up the good work.

Hi Garry
You were right cool graphics, can’t wait to see the pages.
All the best
Rick

>Paul – Graphics from where Alex recommended. Great service. I’ll dig out the website later as v. busy at moment and will answer the other Q later, but yes it is in Aweber,
>Gary – That was first thing that came into my head. I think it’s very ‘you’, lol.
Your comment really did make me laugh out loud, in fact I’m still chuckling as I write this
. The avatars are randomly allocated by WordPress – it’s a feature you can turn on. Apparently, the algorithm to allocate the picture is based on the masculinity, usefulness and basically if you are an all round decent guy
You can get yourself one set up in gravatar and that is shown every blog you post on. Have you noticed mine is set to an ‘eye’, but for some reason it is showing as a black box on your site.
Anyway, thanks for the laugh.
Hi Gary,
Love The Book Cover, cant wait… you have done so well,Where Did You Get The Graphics?
I have been so busy helping other Alex Jeffery’s students, adding widgets adding blogs and offering free hosting, i nearly forgot to register….. Dam.
Hope you have added my blog link into the newsletter?
my blog: http://www.markterrell.co.uk
Thanks Again
Gary
OOps, I was in such a rush to tell you how good the graphics were, I forgot to put the : in my URL.

>Mark – see this post to see if you are included in the newletter. Mark Austin is coming up with a central list to check against.
Hi Garry
Cover looks great. I can write a few pieces for you. I have a few posted on my blog that I wrote a few months ago when I was younger and lets just say not as knowledgeable as I am now.
I also have a Free Tools section over there that has a great new Graphics Tool. I tell you check it out because as you know buying professional graphics gets expensive. This thing turns out some good looking graphics quickly. Did I mention it was FREE.
All for now
Thomas
Hi Garry
Cover looks great. I assume the information will be supurb also. I can’t even think of what to write on my blog let alone an article for the newsletter although I wish I could.

Hey Garry;
You’re a busy man – really looking forward to reading the newsletter (just signed up).
I’ve started on a blog that acts as a feedreader for all of Alex’s students – check it out at http://workingwithalex.com if you get time.
It’s a little slow to load if there’s new feeds (10-15 seconds or so) but should begin to settle in the next day or two.
Cheers,
Austin.

Hi Alan Kiel,
Adding Pop Up Windows in your wordpress blog is easy if you have a Awebber account.
First go to your Awebber Account, if you don’t have one go here http://www.aweber.com/?307041
Goto your ‘List setting’ and click on the ‘Web Form Tab’. Click the green ‘Create A Web Form’ button.
On the Form Page click the ‘Exit pop-up’ or which ever one you fancy under TYPE:
Go down to TITLE: and add your words here then, go down to THANK YOU PAGE: leave it as Awebber default or change this to yours.
Click Next button at the bottom of page, you will now see a new web form shown.
Look at the form bar for ‘GET HTML’ & click there, this will display your forms javascript, copy this to notepad.
Exit & open up your Blog & enter your user name and password into admin.
Click on the ‘Design Tab’, then click ‘Widgets’.
On the left-hand side you will see all the available widgets.
First take a look on the right hand side of the page where it says ‘CURRENT WIDGETS, you will see a drop-down tab there, which will probably say ‘Sidebar1′ and a button next to this.. called ‘Show.’
Under this Button you will see any widgets that are already installed on that side bar, If you have two side bars click the drop-down to display sidebar 2 and click the show button.
On the left hand side of the page.. click the’ Text ADD link.’
Now you will see a Text Bar on the right, your page under CURRENT WIDGETS, click the ‘Edit link’ and then past the javascript from your notepad that you coped from Awebber, into this space.. you dont need a title here.
Now click the change and the ‘Save Changes’ Button.
Well Done you have now created your pop up sign up window….
Hope this helps

Ps: I will be adding a How To Video Soon
Hi Garry
Wonderful cover it’s definately light years ahead of anything else I have seen before – seems like that company Alex is recommending is going to be exceptional busy all year year round.
Anyway, I left you an email.
Best Regards
Nigel
Sh*t… Nigel the Yip-Man from Katmandu looks like a space invader (Avatar #14)!
Come on Gazza – gimme bigger guns. I want 26″ pythons like Hulk Hogan not those puky worm things hangin’ off me. This ain’t fair!
I see you are a RAT! I might set a trap around here.
Gaz-Man from Gaz-Land.

Stopping making me laugh so much Gary . I’ve got work to do, lol !!
Nigel looks a lot better than you though doesn’t he
I think I’m going to have to come up with a name for your little avatar as I can see you are taken with it. How about the the ‘Blue Squidgy Fluff ball’ or the just the ‘Blue Thingie’.
Anybody got any better suggests? Gary, really is feeling unloved here so lets try and put a smile on his face ….
Hey Garry,
awesome cover, love your work, can not wait to read the first issue!

Hi Garry,
Great job with everything. The cover looks very professional and the video is attention getting. Any way to slow it down so the reader is sure not to miss anything? Just a thought.
I’m interested in submitting an article.
Also, I’ve gone through all the steps except I’m not listed on your blog roll, yet. I realize you’ve been very busy. Anything I can do to help?
Warmly,
Theresa
Hey Garry,
Nice job on the newsletter graphics. Looking forward to reading it.
Nice job Nigel on the video. I haven’t done it yet but I have a least looked at the website Animoto.com.
Keep up the good work Garry.
Later,
Jeff Sargent

Hey Garry
I’m just working on an re-edit of the video as your probably aware that animoto doesn’t let the user programme/set timings so I’m going to edit it manually for ya.
All best
Nigel
Hi Garry,
Good stuff.
Really looking forward to seeing it. I would also love to contribute an article or two.
I think Animoto is great for quick vids ..I did a quick overview on it here:

Keep up th good work!

To help everyone I have just made a post on blog traffic generation for the next phase of the coaching.
Feel free to add any tips to the 15 I have listed so far. I have a few others to add over the next day or two.

Gazz-aaaaaaaaa!
Dean Hohn’s avatar (#28) has GUNS! Mine (eg #17) has friggin’ SPINDLES. Duh! In fact DOUBLE Duh!
I’m gonna have to get a GRAVATAR and put a pic of Hulk Hogan or Batista or Brock Lesnar in it.
Jeez. This is TOTALLY UN-fair!
Come on man! Have a HEART! This is embarassing.

Just posting here to see what stupid little alien blob thingamijig shows up next to my name
Martin
Ps. cover looks great Garry, can’t wait to read the content.
You just HAD to do that, didn’t you DEAN?
You had to show off your bloody GREAT BIG guns before AND after my post.
Come on Gazza – do something! I hate my SPINDLE arms. Gimme some guns!
Gazz-Spindle-Man from Spindle-Land
http://www.motivationselfesteem.com/talk
Oh my God! Martin!
Welcome to the spindle appendage club.
I HATE to say this but I think you look even WORSE than me. You not only have spindle arms but…
… you look like a scared, weird, little guy to boot. Yours is a SHOCKER!
I think you should complain to Parkesy too!
Actually, I don’t feel so bad now. But I still want big GUNS!

Hey Gary and Garry
What is it with you guys about this alien avatar thingmijiggy – I really don’t understand this issue and although its great fun to read; it’s either I’m seriously thick as concrete wall or I sense that there’s some new space invader game and that we’ve been all assigned a avatar ready for battle on virtual quasi-garylatic world.
I think it would be great if we all had a class photo but with out avatars in our place instead.
Anyway, Garry, my point of call is I tried looking at the earlier message I told you about manually editing video, just found out windows movie maker won’t edit mp4 videos and that I can’t seem to find my memory stick to transfer files over to the iMac and see whether I can edit it or not.
Looking forward to the newsletter anyway!!!
PS: Did you draw them avatars yourself? If so, you should also do a comic strip as well!!!
Nigel,
“Space Invaders” was some weird console game back in the dawn of time. You’d be appalled at how primitive it was by today’s standards. But we all loved it at the time.
Parkesy was probably a world champion at it! LOL!
Anyway, I have a little competition going on over at Gary-Land where you folks get to tease my “PROJECT X” details out of me in a game of YES/NO.
Wanna play?
Regards
Gary Simpson
http://motivationselfesteem.com/talk
Garry,
The newsletter is going to be AWSOME. I am excited to see the final product.
So far as the avatar for Gary….. we could refer to it as a “smurf..atar”. It seems his concern for the size of the guns is just a cover for some deeper personal issue….lol
Gary,
It’s a hold up at Garry’s coral. We’ve got you surrounded! Stick up those pathetic little hands or we’ll be forced to blow em off!
Garry, let me know if you need me to deal with him once and for all!
Cheers,
Dean Hohn
http://www.deanhohn.com
Gary,
I just read your post about the wedding and the outlaws. Well hate to tell ya mate, but after spending 18 years in Karratha and now living in Tassie, is it any wonder I’ve got guns?
Dean Hohn

Morning Guys,
Quick update as today snowed under with finalising the Newsletter.
BlogRoll-don’t worry about if you haven’t appeared on my Blogroll or the overflow one yet. I don’t add them one by one but in blocks. I’ll do another update later in the week.
Emails – People who are emailing me direct for support (still) after the numerous posts I have put up saying use the blog are still doing it. I haven’t even had chance to email them saying use the blog. Folks, I really can’t give personal tuition as there are only so many hours in the day and the blog is the best place so everyone can benefit from the advice and other students can give feedback as well.
Glad you all like the graphics.
Thanks for the offers of writing articles for future issues. I will be back to you all. In fact, I’ll put up a separate post when I can get around to it collate them all in one place.
MOST IMPORTANT THING – Gary’s avatar, lol!! He need a bit of reassurance that we all don’t some him as some inferior little blue bug thingie me-bobbie. (Best I can describe him as). I think Ken (comment 36) probably is a bit closer to the truth of what’s bugging Gary, lol,
He’s got the this real Macho look pic on his blog – but I reckon that’s a stand-in
Must dash now. Started my day off with a good laugh reading the Avatar comments though
Hi All,
Just a reminder the Newsletter comes out tomorrow. Mad rush today getting everything sorted. The deadline for inclusion in this launch edition is this evening – 9pm UK time.
So if you’ve not done the 4 steps yet, well – you better get a move on!! Also, remember the ones who have completed them, drop a comment over on Mark’s blog as he is compiling the central register.
Catch you later.
Hi Guys again,
Please help Mark out by confirming you have done the 4 steps over on Mark’s site. You don’t want to miss you out accidentally because we missed you in the masses of comments on various other threads !!!
Hi Garry,
I have dubbed you and Mark as “The Special Forces” division of Team Alex!
What a wonder you are, and I look forward to the newsletter with great anticipation.
You guys Rock!!

Hi Garry
I just wanted to tell you that I have just launced a social network for the group.
The address is http://www.fortunate500.ning.com
It will be a great central communications tool for us
Thomas Northrop
Oh see, now I just have to join in to see what kind of avatar I get given!!
Will be working on a new blog post tomorrow – but for all of you that have posted on my very first post ever, thank you so much!
Right, time to submit and see who I was in a past life (my avatar)…
Nikki
http://www.NikkiStephens.com
Ha ha ha ha!!
Gaz-man, check my avatar out if you want spindly! Never before have I looked like a little green random alien (oh, other than those mornings-after-the-night-before – green alien is probably very accurate on those occasions!).
Nix the Spindly Twin from Nickelodeon
http://www.NikkiStephens.com
Nix the Spindly Twin from Nickelodeon…
… that is VERY funny Nix. Yep you have VERY spindly arms and legs but you are a GIRL!
I’m supposed to have muscley arms and now Kenny-boy has descended my concern for “GUNS” into some other appendage issue. Not fair Ken! Just coz I get all those emails about increasing the size of my … Well, I’ll bet you get them too, my friend. (You’re all HEART Ken!)
Hohnsy, you look like you’ve been working out big time man. Karratha huh? Now I know. Those arms come from a Nor-West Mud Crab!
And look at Thomas Northrop – he looks like the top of a hot-cross bun.
And what about Lesley “Medusa” Morgan? Do you and Thomas get your green hair styled at the same place?
And as for chief RAT Parkesy – you look bubonically out of proportion so don’t start on me dude!
Just to let you know Gazza – I’m on the “mission” – wink, wink – will fire back the email ASAP.
Regards to all Avatarians.
Gary Spindleson… I mean – Simpson

Hey Garry and Gary
Firstly looking forward to the newsletter tomorrow – will probably be the only thing I will do related to this coaching course tommorrow and Gary, this avatar thingy, is this just randomness or what – great fun to read though.
I’m going to nickname your avatar as The Smartie Tweedle Blitter Blatter Bot!!!
All the best to you both and all who visits this blog
Nigel aka The Purple Freakatar Blob!!!
Gary,
Mate, you really know how to hurt a guy! Now that you’ve mentioned Mud crabs, I can’t get the thought out of my bloody head.
My mouth is dripping like a half open tap and I can see them, I can taste them , but I bloody well don’t have one!
Pulling a trick like that you deserve spindly little pathetic arms!
Thanks mate!:-l
Cheers,
