Networking with Alex Jeffreys and others
Well anyone following me on Twitter will know that I was in London at the weekend and caught up with Alex Jeffreys before he went Underground !! And what an awesome weekend we had meeting up with other Alex Jeffreys Coaching students and some other top Internet Marketers who were there for Frank Garon’s seminar.
In edition to meeting with Alex Jeffreys I had the privilege to, to hang out with John Thornhill (the top UK Ebay Powerseller amongst other things) plus Dave Nicholson (another top IMer). Plus got to meet with some other Alex Jeffreys Coaching Students as well; Mark Austin, Paula Brett, Dan Briffa and Dean Holland. What a great opportunity to network, exchange ideas do a bit of brainstorming and oh yes …. Have a bit (a lot!) of fun as well !!! Best example of mixing business with pleasure I’ve ever seen
One thing hit home to me very clearly. Building relationships through networking is an essential element to help you fast-track your business to success. Seeking out potential Joint Venture (JV) partners and building relationships with them has been an essential strategy in Alex’s own progression over the last couple of years.
Now I appreciate not everyone can get to seminars (particularly when they are half-way around the world for some) but you don’t necessarily have to, to make solid progress. Alex explained entirely how he did this on his recent Coaching Course without the need to leave the comfort of your own home! And I already have mentioned a technique above to forge relationships! There are loads of ways and you are reading another one of them now – Blogs! As many on Alex Jeffreys‘ recent Coaching Course can vouch for, a strong community type spirit can be built up using just blogs alone and thus many in the group have already forged great friendships, alliances and Joint Venture arrangements already. I know I have
But I am not alone.
Plus, in my prior post I also mentioned all about the JVVillage a community which now has approaching 600 active like-minded people. All making JV offers and potential future JV Partners as well. Why not join me in there?
So there are loads of ways to start networking and to build great relationships that might serve you well in the future and/or have great fun along the way. And having fun and enjoying what you are doing is essential to anything you do. And I’m LOVING IT!
So before you just click away from this page, think of at least one thing you CAN DO NOW …… YES NOW ….. that you haven’t done as of yet to start forging even more relationships with like minded people. DO IT NOW. All these small steps add up, but you have to put one foot in front of the other to get anywhere! I’d love to know what you have DONE or are DOING in this area so drop me a comment below to let others know too that you are serious about all this.
And just to finish off, here’s me having a great time over the weekend and meeting with Alex Jeffreys.

Hey Garry,
What a weekend and it was great to finally meet you and have a chat. Just which the recovery period was shorter, lol.
Seminars are a great way to fast track your business and build relationships. But as you point out we can’t all be jetting around the world, but there are many other ways.
Already a memeber of JV village so if you are reading this and your are not, GET OVER THERE
All the best
Mark
Hi Garry,
I saw all the pics over at marketing with you and am looking forward to the time when I can physically meet everyone! Looks like y’all were having a grand time.
I’m a member of JV VIllage, too, so will see you over there.

Hi Garry
There was only one thing wrong with last weekend I didn’t hear about it in time to get along, but there will be more in the future I am sure.
I’m also a member of JV village and do read all the posts although I may not reply to them all.
The pics that Alex put up on marketing with you told a story……
Richard
Hey Garry,
I read about you guys and saw pictures on Alex’ blog. You all looked like you were having fun while I was working on my computer. Wished I was there sipping on a cold one with you all.
Anyway Garry, you’ve probably wondered where I’ve been as I haven’t posted any comments in quite some time. I kind of got off my plan and was doing other things but I am re-focused now and plan on making it a major point of visiting more blogs.
Oh, I just joined the JV Village and put you down as my referrer as I did find out about it here. Thanks.
I’d love to get over to the UK someday and visit you guys but I need to make a boat load of money first. Right now I can’t afford a hot dog. LOL!
Talk back at you later Garry.
Jeff Sargent
Hi Garry.
I’ve seen a few pix of that weekend “business” seminar. I guess it was “fully” tax deductible. LOL!
Wish I could have been there but it would have cost me like $3,000 so… how lucky are you guys when all you have to do is drive or jump on a train?
I have joined the JV Village but haven’t had much time to get in there and do anything. (jokingly) I asked Jim (the Village King) if he needed a resident Village Idiot and he said no. Oh well, one can only offer, I guess. PMSL at that. Not sure if he knows how to take me.
Anyway, good post Garry and I suppose you have all recovered sufficiently by now from all that hard (liquor) learning.
Gary Simpson
PS: Thanks for those comments you left over at the TEMPLE - much appreciated.
Garry….
Get yourself to ireland!
All are welcome!
Harry
Great photo by the way…..
I hope to get with Alex in the next few months [pop over to Ca[r]diff]
Might go via York…..
Wow, it must be special moment. Isn’t it?
Garry,
What a great post and had to have been a great weekend. I really am hoping to go to Las Vegas to meet up with other students of Alex’s Coaching program.
I see I have fallen off your comment blogroll. Have to work on getting back up there
Sorry I have not been around, dealing with some medical issues and some fallout from my work.
Have a great day
Thom
Thanks. I was searching and got the point for my new assignment.
