More Progress

I mentioned in an earlier post about I’m a firm believer if you really want to succeed in any project you have to take some action every single day. Small steps lead to big things. I certainly feel I’m making progress.

First, I’ve had a couple of emails over the weekend from people reading my blog and I’ve now had some comments! To infinity and beyond !! … well everyone has to start somewhere.

Still ploughing through Alex’s material and tomorrow I hope to have up on the blog something that may be of interest to many. It’s something that puts a lot of people off because they thing it’s

  • too difficult,
  • or too expensive,
  • or the killer of everyone – it will take too much time.

I’ve found some free software that can really be a killer tool for getting traffic and yet it puts those 3 excuses above (which is really all they are) to bed!.

Stay tuned.

A little problem

Hey, weird problem with my blog I have just spotted.

For some reason the prior post wasn’t showing. I’ve inserted this one to resolve it and guess what all posts seems to showing okay but not sure what happened!!!

Not going to spend too much time working out why as more important things to be doing. There’s an important lesson to be learned here. Do not get to bogged down with perfection. Focus your attention on the bigger things.

The Real Road to Riches

Well I’ve spent a lot of today going through Alex Jeffreys Coaching materials.  Still not manged to get through it all yet and I’m sure I’ll have to go over some of the material again. However, I’ve already worked out for myself some home truths that are the reason I’ve virtually got nowhere over the past decade and I’m sure it applies to the majority as well. To be honest, the positive I can take from the last 10 years is that I’ve increased my skill set and understand some of the tools and terminology around the Internet.

Get Rich Culture
You see we all live in a culture where everything is happening super fast. In this world of globalisation we see events happening on the other side of the world instantly broadcast on 24/7 news channels. We are constantly in touch via email, Windows Messenger, Skype or cell phone so we are in a constant state of information and communication overload. Is it any wonder in all this buzz and hype that for many this has heightened the “must have it now” mindset or the “Get Rich Now Culture”? As a consequence, we are constantly sold the dream. It’s easy, the hype says – buy Product A and then the money will flow. I realise now that Product A isn’t the answer, it’s “the system” behind promoting Product A (or any product for the that matter) that is the real key to success.

A problem solved …

Hi guys,

I mentioned yesterday that I couldn’t work out how to get the link properly sorted out for Alex’s coaching course. Well in the end I posted a support request to Alex’s Support desk and a lady called Helen replied pretty rapidly with the answer. Thanks Helen. I’m still working through PaydotCom and hope to be able to post up a video showing everyone how to use it as I’ve struggled a little bit. Watch this space.

Here’s the 30 minute video for the Alex Jeffreys Coaching Course. Usually you pay a fortune to get access to mentoring of this nature and because of this I’ve always felt reluctant to do so. That’s probably why I’ve spent the best part of a decade getting nowhere. Oops!!

Alex has pretty much gone from nowhere himself to massive success in a short space of time and has access and been mentored himself by some of the top “gurus”. And I mean the top ones: Rich Schefren, Mike Filsaime to name a couple.

That’s part of the reason I signed up. In a way we are indirectly getting the knowledge of the most successful marketeers on the internet but at a fraction of the usual tuition fees.  I’m so excited and really can’t wait to start proper next week.

In any case you can all read about my success as I start my journey. I’ll keep you updated with my progress, what I struggle with and when the success really starts to kick in.

My First Day

I feel as though I managed to achieve a lot since signing up for the Mentorship Course yesterday.

I’ve managed to get my blog up and running. I know there’s probably loads else to do with refining the blog but I’ll work out how to do that later.

I read through all the initial material and will have to read it all again to let it sink in. Always keen to get something practical done each day so I thought I’d work out how to setup a link to Alex Jeffreys Mentorship Course.

I tried to work out how to set it up as an affiliate link through PayDotCom but for the life of me can’t seem to work it out. Must be some sort of hidden product where only invited guests can promote the product.

PayDotCom seems to be a massive marketplace where vendors can promote their own products and affiliates can earn commission for doing so.  In setting up my account I added some product to promote at random just to see how the function worked and now I don’t know how to remove it !! It’s not immediately intutive how to do things in PayDotCom but I’ll report back on how I’ve solved my problems as I’m sure others will have similar experiences when starting out.
